Shout out to the trustees who are standing their ground. You can really tell they care about their community to the point that they are literally putting their jobs if not more on the line to continue to do that. Hopefully they can get the mayor out of there so this community can thrive like they deserve.
Watching from Florida. Its truly unbelievable that this was allowed to happen. I watched the Mayor & some or her media as well as her paid goon squad aka 'police protection' what a disgrace & Joke. Everything done in The dark will come to the light. I feel bad for the people of Dalton. She needs to be investigated as well as her staff.
This is despicable what the Mayor is doing. This wayyyyy out of line. I can’t believe the police are really going along with this. You think there are no consequences coming for everyone involved in this travesty will pay eventually. These residents deserve so much better!
What’s bad, is the fact. The mayor can just fire law enforcement. Even if police are union. Getting your job back Would be difficult. I say that because you know, Teflon Tiff would do something to set you up.
I am living in Spain - Europe but following this subject. So as i understand Dolton has 20.000 resident and your mayor has a Chevrolet Tahoe with a lease amount of 149.500 dollar, 4 security gards, a policecar in front of her house, hired a sex offender, has set up a scam foundation and she used county creditcards to fly first class to Las Vegas and spend 24.000 dollars on hotels and diners with friends. Why isn't she behind bars ?

Investigations take time. Especially when it involves an entire town/township’s financials. They will have to audit all of her spending and go through the laws and codes to see what they can and can not prove in a court of law. I’m not in Illinois but my town is now going through this situation. Investigation is going on over a year with a commissioner indicted, ex county Chief deputy indicted and the investigation continues. Federal officials are meticulously reviewing every tiny thing and that takes time.
I hope the citizens stand strong with the trustees. this "girl" mayor is an embarrassment to the black communities everywhere. One thing she is right about is calling herself a "girl".
That gentleman that is speaking up and providing solutions should be a key leader to leverage law and order to restore Dolton Community Villagers to be in complete control!! The Dolton Villagers pay for everything that is done! No one or few people can dictate anything that is not authorized or agreed to per the majority!

But the Dolton Park District is a separate jurisdiction and separate unit of government that the village of Dolton under village president/mayor Tiffany Henyard crossed the line with in the absence or presence of a village ordinance. We told the Cook County Board of Commissioners only two months ago that Henyard's cornbread wasn't done in the middle. While is she continuing to mess with the Township Assessor. And for that matter, why is Thornton Township Democratic committeeman Napoleon Harris and the Cook County Democratic Central Committee continuing to allow her to continue that mess?
Tiffany needs to go! I'm watching from NYC this is disgusting and disrespectful. The people of of Dolton dont deserve this. Let this be a lesson vote not on personal feelings be wise next election.
Hate to say it but the Bosley’s need to sue. The so called mayor Tiffany and the town itself. Those folks did everything they were supposed to do. People traveled to get there and the Bosleys lost money. So unfair😢😢😢
There needs to be a march down to city hall and you as a body of villagers need to gather everyone to include neighboring towns and block the downtown streets of Chicago until you get what you need. This is like the wall of Jericho! If not city hall then you perform a march on DC! You can not tolerate any one group or person that think they can disregard and disrespect you in your community! There would be no rest until the community gets what it needs!
