@@tripe_09 I think we will. He will blossom here. Watched the kings game tonight and you guys looked like a new team. Hopefully you can find a couple more three and D guys and maybe one day something special can happen.
@@jacksonfindley205 ik those lobs to Myles and he can play his role to the fullest cause tyrese never had a pick and pop big only a pick and role don’t get me wrong Holmes push shot was automatic, but it ain’t enough
This looks so weird man. When I get used to players on one team, it always looks weird seeing them in another jersey. First game, first W tho. Sabonis a beast. I have no connection to the Kings but I want Sacramento in the playoffs
@@zodiactayson2369 his father was the best international player of his time. And was a big what if in the NBA history. But let's give credit were credit is due, Domas is a solid player. Definitely an all star.
@@Matt-xt4rp Sabonis also plays the more valuable position (versatile post playmaker), is on a value deal, and Halliburton was redundant on the kings roster
@@Matt-xt4rp As a pacers fan I feel real good about this trade. But I believe this could be real good for the Kings as well. Kinda depends on your organisation not making any knucklehead moves. Sabonis can play, no doubt.
We Pacers fans have absolutely HATED the disrespect shown to Sac after that trade. You got THREE GREAT guys & an all star. We're all rooting for Kings now!!
Wrong lol the kings being the kings traded a future all star like Tyrese and they traded a good player like buddy hield and I couldn’t be happier go warriors
The amount of disrespect shown for this guy during this whole trade saga has been disgraceful. He's one of the most consistent players in the NBA putting up outrageous stats every night. This isn't about whether Sabonis will thrive, because he will. This trade is all about having faith in Davion Mitchell to step up to the plate and I absolutely love it. Everybody so hung up on the potential of a player when you literally just got one of the best offensive players in the NBA. Unreal.
I am so happy for Domas, aka the most underappreciated star in the NBA right now, that he is in this win-now situation, together with some speedy point guards that can profit so much from his screens and play-making .
@@MrDividends092 man You 🤡's are pathetic it's one game? It was against a high caliber playoff contender and the Kings looking like they played together for Year I could Imagine how it's gonna look when they Gel together and learn each other
Remember what all the media personalities said about this trade. What were the kings thinking? Haliburton this, Haliburton that. Sabonis as an absolute OX!
This may have been the best trade the Kings made since Chris Webber back in 98! Now please add a rim protector cause you can’t score 132 points every night
I feel like a lot of people forget Sabonis is only 25 and he’s already been a all star twice. Tyrese is a baller, but Sabonis is a great big man to have who can stretch the floor. I don’t think Kings took a absolute L on the trade like people say they did
Reminds me of when kings brought Bibby in years ago from Vancouver he ignited the entire franchise , sabonis is that same time of player quite and just leads by example , look out west here they come...
@@Dm3rica facts. All the idiots saying the kings traded for absolutely nothing and got robbed don't know nothing. Lamb, Sabonis and those other people the kings got will definitely help them out a lot.
@@josekreisherraefoscablo3603 Divac took the blame when he passed on Doncic. It's no secret that the Kings' management has been really incompetent. I just wish that this trade would start to turn things around for the franchise.
@@PooksLuciano Stop writing crap. Sabonis is not underrated. Indiana Pacers is a garbage organization and it is for this reason that Sabonis has not had more recognition in the League. Don't confuse things.
@@capitanfuturo594 he played for the Indiana pacers that's the reason he was underrated and he'll most likely remain underrated because he went to another team that doesn't get talked about
This is the most of Kings highlights I've seen all season. I've watched Sabonis all season and to me he was just...eh. No big deal because he played for the boring Pacers. But now I am happy hes with a new team. It seems like him and Fox could be a great duo. I hope he makes the Kings relevant again. And this is coming from a Laker fan.
Cant say "eh" watching him play,2 time all star, plays hard, very skilled and one of the few true post centers left in the league, great passer, monster offensive rebounder...when I LOOK at him?I've always said THATS a basketball player!!
What?? :D they let Sabonis go??? :D that is suicide... Kings you are so so lucky...! You got just a little smaller version of Jokic for a "prospect"... How crazy is that..? Just make it a nice place for Domas and you are good for years... 300% Kings won the trade 👏🍋💪
Domas is one of the most consistent player in the whole NBA. Double-double machine. Each year improving! He never makes any show, he is always persistent and unselfish warrior for his team. You will see it many times! I am a new fan now of Sac.
I said it before. Sabonis will make the Kings better. Glad to see him proving most opinion makers wrong. It’s easy to see that everybody got easier shots with him on the floor.
nobody this sabonis won’t help the kings rn, it’s just he’s not gonna be enough with fox to get anywhere far in the playoffs, while the pels got tyrese whose potential looks to b better then fox and sabonis
The think is we all know sabonis is going to made the kings better, but that's not enough to change the organization dynamic or to move the league. They should have stay in rebuilt mode and build around tyrese
To everyone who is reading this, you’re beautiful and an amazing person. Please exercise frequently and eat more fruits/veggies. I wish you all good health, great success, and everlasting happiness!!!!!
This is a franchise player. Good luck Kings! His father was named the all-time best European player when he played. He played through injuries at the end of his career. Here we are witnessing his son, solid as rock! He is top 3 PF in the league right now.
The media was making this trade seem a lot more one sided that it really is. Sure, the Kings need 3 point shooting, but they also got a young all star. Lamb is a decent rotation player/ shooter so he should help.
Uhhh no, this is Fox team. Sabonis is his partner. Fox numbers abort to jump since the defense doesn’t need to just concentrate on him. He was going off 25-7 just last year, can easily see Fox push it to 28-8
@@LukasSRR it’s still Fox. The fact the Kings plays in a fast pace is because of Fox abilities. Sabonis won’t be getting 8+ assists, Fox still will be the one initiating offense and will be the leading scorer. The system is built for Fox with the help of Sabonis.
Kings won this trade im telling y'all Idk why the media overreacting like Sabonis is some kind of bum for god's sake he is only 25 years old and 2x all star he is 2x better than buddy hield and Tyrese combined
I don't understand how the Pacers traded Sabonis and instead chose to build around Myles Turner. I love Myles Turner, but more as a Way Better Draymond Green type player on a Championship Team. Sabonis if you hand over the keys of the team to him he could be identical to Jokic. Jokic and Sabonis games are exactly the same, but only difference is Jokic within the Bubble was giving the team and every since he then jumped from a Average Player, to Star, then to MVP. I see the similar progress in Sabonis career especially now that he on the Kings because I thought the Pacers was going to retool around Sabonis. I was wrong and the Pacers was dumb.
Reminds me a little bit of Webber with his passing ability and all around game. Really wish we could've traded Fox instead of Hali but I am open to the possibility of a Fox/Sabonas duo together
Sabonis is nice but you could have given a draft pick and buddy and someone else for the power forward but giving away a great talent who actually wanted to be in Sacramento is madness the type of decision can put your franchise back for years well it’s already been 20 years they played the lakers and since then they have been irrelevant
So did the Kings just get rid of their log jam at the guard only to power up/smooth out their offence with arguably the most talented PF they've had since Chris Webber? - Raptors Fan
He's like a poor man's Jokic. He's like Jokic on 85% power lol Edit: People might think I'm hating. Jokic and Sabonis are my favorite bigs in the league today. They can run offenses and punish defenses all day long
