Depending on the rate of speed and size of branch, there could be a chance of tearing. But in most cases, branches and debris bounce/graze off the Dome due to the natural shape of the structure. However, in areas prone to high winds, we recommend placing your Dome away from any trees with weak branches.
You can break into a dome just like a rock can be used to break into the window of a home. There are precautions you can take for both. Alarms, fences, cameras, dogs etc.
What is strength of fabric ? What keeps predatory animals from clawing their way into the dome ? Also , safety issues with human invasion knifing their way through the fabric when occupant is away ?
Our Dome's fabric is incredibly resistant to the forces of nature, when it comes down to strong winds and heavy snow loads, you can count on us! The best thing you can do from protecting your Dome from animals is removing the opportunity for uninvited animals to enter, i.e., no open food around the deck of your dome, leaving your Dome door/windows closed, etc..In terms of a break-in, you would treat your Dome the same way you would a traditional house, security cameras and locking systems are always helpful. A knife can tear through our Domes as much as a rock can smash through a house's window!
Hello! During those hot summer days, we love to rely on our ventilation base rollups for added air flow! We also offer Solar Fans that can easily keep your Dome at a nice temperate climate away from the heat!
