Quick question here. Instead of using two PRV’s in parallel to meet design specifications for low-high demand; could you not also use a pilot operated PRV? Just curious. It would make sense almost always to install parallel for redundancy as well in case either PRV fails or needs servicing in the future; while still providing water service in a reduced capacity.
Thanks for your comment and inquiry. You may be able to use a pilot PRV. It has the ability to provide for the high/low demand. We do not offer a pilot PRV, so please check with the manufacturer of said product. Our solution would be to use two PRVs in parallel. Hope this helps.
