Yes but I think you're missing the point with domestic pressure washers vs professional pressure washers. For a professional time is money and the more jobs you can do in one day the more money you can earn. Whereas with a domestic pressure washer it doesn't matter how long it takes to do a job for if it's your own place you can take as long as you want for you're not paying anyone to do it for you. Also the domestic pressure washer is designed for the home owner not the professional person who does it for their living. The professional pressure washer set up should be far more durable than the domestic pressure washer. If you decide to use a domestic pressure washer in commercial use then it won't last long and often on the box they come in it often reads "for domestic use only". That's so that if you do use a domestic pressure washer is commercial applications and it burns out on you, then you can't sue the manufacturer for faulty equipment because you used that pressure washer for a task and work situation it was never designed to perform.

Trouble with Karcher and the other DIY units is they are mostly direct to tap so you get fluctuations in water pressure which damages the pump. Good video Dave I see you enjoyed it 👍

Interesting video, thanks! As a home gamer, who is an occasional user (few car washes, patio and drive per year). I came to the conclusion thet a petrol powred machine was just not suitable for my use case. Running a K7 compact, and can do ythe job (just). Although time is not money for me so being slow is free.

There is a big differance in a petrol jetwasher and B&Q special. but also got to think Mr Joe Public would be missing a few toes or blown off a ladder with a pro Jetwasher. if you are thinking about getting one be carefull its very easy to end up with a water injection even with wellingtons.

Funny and Interesting video. The karcher has its place, I use one with their turbo nozzle for cleaning fascia and soffits with an extendable lace. Gets the job done with good results. I’ve then got a Honda gx390 for driveways etc, where you need the extra power for the professional finish.

That looked like fun mate. I’ve had that with a client cancelling a power wash as the husband has done it with the Karcher,, he’s done a good job she says, then you clean the neighbours with the Honda (21lpm) And it looks like the husband used a garden hose in comparison 😂😂

great demo Dave all washers that have a 13amp plug on the end of them are restricted on there pump size .I appreciate you emphasised the other was entry level but you see a lot of so called professional people using the same machine and then they stick a flat surface cleaner on the end of it. Because that has 2 nozzles it halves your pressure and litres so then you are running exactly the same pressure and litres as the k4.if people want to run anything with 2nozzles then they should get a 21litre machine. I run a 30litre machine it will not clean any better than the 15litre one but it will do it in half the time

Karcher uses a pump with wobble plate which are less efficient and unreliable and have short life expectancy designed for the consumer market. Petrol have axial or better still triplex pumps far more reliable and efficient with long life. Axial pumps are sealed for life triplex have oil and can be repaired.

15lpm you don't need anymore than that Dave I've been using monsters of pressure washers for years up to 35 lpm some of them They eat fuel I have the gx390 with 21lpm pump I have it turned way down about 12lpm or less I use a good bit of hipo With great results years ago I was always into bigger was better ya and a lot more expensive to run my next washer will be the Honda gx 200 with 15lpm at 150 bar. This will run any 18-in ch or 20. @squeakycleandave1
@squeakycleandave1 3 года назад
I borrowed a 21lpm machine while I was waiting for mine to arrive and it was faster than my machine. I got the 15 lpm because I was thinking that a tap wouldn’t supply enough water to keep a 21 running but when I borrowed the 21 it wasn’t a problem so I wish I had gone with that one.

Its ok to use a big machine on a car if you know how to use them but if its a member of the general public that has just hired it to do there drive and don't have any experience then they could quite easily do damage.
@sarahd3876
@sarahd3876 7 месяцев назад
Worse than that, they could kill somebody or cause them harm! 150bar at 12inches doesn’t harm paint. You would need to be doing something really stupid to really damage things. The notable thing is seals on bearings and sliders on motorcycles, trims etc. If you are stupid enough to destroy your own stuff with one, you will learn quickly
