Highway touring very good stability annu bike tharunnathu 2. Oru near 400 CC with 36 Kms mileage (highways) 3. Sweet Spot is 120 KMPH, post that vibration and buzz und 4. Best in segment lights 5. Exhaust sound is very level Cons 1. Stock Tyres Wet and little Sand conditions shokam Kanu 2. Brake Bite for bak break is very less 3. Gear lever doesn’t have good rubber bush , so sound und gear change mostly 1st Gear 4. Throttle lag for some time 5. Long run kazhinjit vandiyude sound cheruthayit maarum, engine side, but cool aayal kazhinju back to normal 6. Stock engine oil is not so great 7. Stock air filter shokam aanu( built quality) 8. Chain sprocket life will be less (Stock, naan proper aayit service cheiyunna all aanu) Problems Kurachi adikam pole thong pakshe ellathinum parihaaram und. 1. brake issue, resolved using dot 5.1 fluid and change brake pads to some ceramic pads or stock too works 2. Engine stalling or throttle lag is there, but post fuelx installation this issue got resolved. 3. Gear change issue resolved after installing Duke 200 gear shaft. 4. Front brake and clutch levers made adjustable- KTM 390 levers are direct fit 5. Using castrol power one ultimate , which make engine run smooth and less heating 6. Changed to BMC air filter which will for sure helps in smooth acceleration 7. Chain sprocket changed to Rolon. Less noise NB: Njan Thanne aanu modifications and Service Cheiyyunnathu.
I've Been using Dominar from 2019, the best for long touring, buy some good accessories and you wouldn't even think of a better bike. But it feels very heavy in bumper to bumper traffic.
Just hear me out .... Just because the price has come down and the specs on the paper are amazing doesn't mean it's the bike you should get for that price.... I have been using dom400 ug for three years now and has done 45000 kms . Pros : Stability is just amazing Front forks are great Exhaust note Power 40Hp Front brake Regular spares are cheap Mileage for 400cc is remarkable, I get 18 to 20kmpl for local use and upto 37 kmpl on long distance touring , no other 400cc will give this mileage. Cons: Just because its Bajaj don't think the service will be cheap , each 15000 km service will set you 4 to 5K bill because of the fork oil change . Seats are not that comfortable after 200 kms strech , you will need to take break. Top heavy , not suitable for beginners...takes lot of time to get a hang of it , but once you are familiar with how dom goes its a Breeze. Vibrations from tank cover , front key set area , handle bar , foot pegs etc... i have tried several diy tricks , it could work for some time but not fixable . Back brakes are not existant Engine quality ( shims will get loose every 15k kms and it takes time for the service centre to fix it for free , free for first owners. But even then they had a lot of time to fix it and still haven't fixed, launched in 2019 and even in 2023 they haven't fixed this big issue. Bs6 is also not very different , they fixed my bike with bs6 head and chanaged shims 2 times post that. Verdict : insane value for money if you are ready to adjust with these vibrations and engine related issues ( it has 5 year or 75000kms warranty , could be fixed for free but take that time into account ) Dom400 is just incredible for high way touring nothing comes close in this price range ( the sheer power and amazing chassis and surprising mileage ) I ❤ my bike , but it has some cons and please buy knowing this .

Bro thats not the real reason they removed triple spark one of the reason is due to emissions and the main reason is that dtsi was not that efficient as they saying, eg duke 390 same square with bore n stroke engine comes with single spark.
