Duely noted +abhishek mohanty 👍 will definitely mention this in other chain related videos. Spraying in reverse direction creates a bit less mess by reducing the spill & spray on the bike ☺
i just saw ur video about the dominar 400 engine oil change. i wanna take this time to appreciate the good work ur doing. keep it up bro both the videos are on point and very helpful. i am 17 and i guess i can do things like these by myself by watching ur vids subscribing right away
Thanks you so much +Anche Rambaburao for all the words of appreciation 😊 The eagerness & curiosity to learn & do something new can take you a long way ahead in life, happy to know you are enjoying these stuff at 17 👍👍 Your subscription does matter a lot in motivating & boosting this channel to create a lot more quality content 👍
😘😘made the chain look like new ..... Loved this video as always ...... But what do u prefer cleaning the chain after bike wash or before ...... And I have also heard form many ppl saying that spray will damage the paint of swing arm .... Is that true
Hi Adarsh, I personally clean and lubricant the chain after the wash as dirt from the wash can settle on the chain. The contents of Chain lubricant don't have any corrosive property to damage the swing arm only thing the lubricant might do is attract dirt on the swing arm which can be easily cleaned.
Yes +Bhaskar Kalita, The air filter video will be coming soon, the availability is a problem. The video will be out once we get hold of the air filter. Have you checked the Engine oil & oil filter changed video on this channel?
Thanks Vishal for the appreciation. I really tried to find the music but I didn't get anything expect for the video file. It's was some random music from RU-vid which I liked at that time. Can you try to reverse search it through the music?
Hi Shiva, Yes, you can use cotton cloth. You can go for 300V 15w50 if your place is not too cold (yet to use it on the Dominar), However 7100 10W50 performs very well on the Dominar & I don't find any justified reason to go for the 300V. Used the same on the Dominar on our Rajasthan ride.
Hi +ur Indian Tech Guy, for now Dominar seems to be the best of the lot in terms of intensity. Duke 390's LED headlamp have balanced focus & intensity. For now these two seems to be a better performer in terms of headlamps. RC/RS are also good nothing to complain.
Your question must be clear what you require, bcoz led / halogen/hid are lighting technology and projector / reflector are reflection technology. Giving the combination example 1- Normal reflector + halogen bulb General setup found any standard bike like apache, ct100, cbz etc 2- Normal reflector + hid bulb These are used in after market modification as you have already seen 3-Normal reflector+ led bulb These things are now going to replace the halogen / hid. Means these led bulb have same holder size as existing halogen. It just replace plug and play, no additional blast, wiring nothing required like hid. Philips is selling in India with H4 size led bulb for cars. 4- Normal reflector + integrated led It means you can't see the bulb here. All the diodes is integrated with reflector, you can see in DOMINAR each section reflector have a light yellow colour diode on the top of reflector. Duke 390, new 2017 honda city, all new audi is same system 5- Projector + halogen Best example is RS200, new scorpio, RC 200, 390 etc. 6- Projector+ led bulb All premium class like Bmw, mercy They using now a days. So according to your question, this is the description, you can put led bulb on rc/rs projector.
Can be used for temporary lubrication but 2T oil is too thin to lubricate the chain and stick to the links and rollers for long better go for dedicated chain lubricant 😊
Hi Adiya, Depends upon the riding conditions. Typically 500-600km lubrication interval is fine. Cleaning can be done every 2000-2500km during non monsoons.
Hi +Aniket barse, I prefer Diesel, Chemically diesel is one of the best degreaser with good solubility & lower volatile nature, which helps to drain the dirt deposits from the chain link. Flash point of diesel is high enough to make it safe to use it on chain (any ways we clean the residue) and it doesn't ignites with spark/static. Only thing that should of concern is the oxidation rate of a degreaser which very slow in case of diesel (but present) so it necessary that we wipe out the residue diesel. Being a strong degreaser it cleans thoroughly but we should always take care that latter the chain links are lubed propertly. Best example of this is my RTR 180's chain (o ring type) which is still going strong at close to 50k km on the odometer. However in cold countries where temperature reaches lower than 0 deg C, diesel fails to act as degreaser as it has a tendency to turn into jelly state when stored in open (non insulated/iso-thermal way). In such case citrus based degreaser are used.
The Sportztourer thanks brother for such useful information... It's very useful for me and my ride (Gixxer SF fi abs) I always support you Bro..your content was so useful for us. First time I clean my chain with the help of kerosene now afterwards I always use Disel for cleaning....Thanks again 🙏🙏
Hi +sarmistha sarkar, Petrol evaporates very quickly leaving all the dirt/sludge back on to the chain. Diesel/Kerosene is preferred due to their better degreasing properties & low volatality.
Hi +Pavan Rajak, Worn out chain sprocket leads to: 1. Noise. 2. Drop in performance. 3. Lower fuel efficiency 4. & the most important one ACCIDENT! Yes, worn out chain & sprocket set in worse case can slip out, just like it happens in the bicycle & can cause life threatening accident. Is liye agar chain sprocket kharab ho jaye toh time pe change karna jaroori hai. Ek aur baat, hamesha pura set (chain & sprocket) ek sath change karna chahiye. Ride safe
