I enjoy both equally! The shorter videos can be watched on lunch break at work and the longer ones can be watched while I brew for pioneer or play video games!

Could do both. I.e. do shorter videos but have multiple parts covering say an era of a plane.

If it’s about the lore and history I prefer longer videos and if it’s about technical and strategic I prefer shorter. Thank you for making these videos.

Just some little things that are missing are: 1. The rise of Nicol Bolas empire and his fall after the betrayal of Tetsuo Umezawa. 2. The aftermath of the Phyrexian invasion which is basically the Odyssey block. 3. The return of Nicol Bolas during Timespiral. We could also add the war of the Mirage Block but that can be fitted during the Legends era.

Bolas' history is full discussed in another video; I think it would be redundant showing it here too. About the Mirari saga, I agree with you. Is an important part that is not even mentioned.

This shorter summary videos 10~20 minutes helps a lot to introduce new player into a well known plane with a lot of history, it has just the right amount of info for them to not miss general things about a plane.

I'm a couple weeks late watching this, but it was an enjoyable recap of the events of Dominaria's insanely long and colorful history. There were some things that were skipped over but I think you nailed a good summary of events in the time you allowed yourself for the video. Personally I would LOVE a deep dive into the same subject in a longer video, but this video is a great starting point for my friend who is a long time player of the game, but only just recently started looking into the lore itself. The current series of sets starting with Dominaria United has piqued his interest so I will refer him to this channel for sure!

For historic topics like this, I prefer longer videos (I mean, Dominaria' history in 24 minutes and Amonketh's in almost 30 doesn't look fair to me 🤣). Discussions about concepts like Phyresis or elves or similar specific stuff fits better in the short format. Great work nonetheless.

That is a great point and I appreciate the feedback. Trying to gauge what's feasible on my end and what viewers enjoy. But I do plan on going in depth on many of these topics so hopefully I can redeem myself in Dominarian lore!

I think you need a mix of both, shorter videos like this one is for new viewers and the longer videos are for invested viewers. Without the long videos you wouldn’t have continued interest and without the short videos it’s hard for people to be introduced into mtg lore

I know this is an old video and i enjoyed it greatly, but why was there nothing about the Odyssey block on the continent of Otaria on Dominaria? Or did i miss it?
