I like how Shizuka and Stephanie bring a different feel to the videos. The cool thing with Stephanie is that, her experience will be what non-japanese speaking tourists will likely experience. And with Shizuka, its like im learning history in the same time. So i really love having these two!
Love the variety the channel has been adding recently. Obviously always happy to see Shizuka, but these different host/no host videos have been great! ❤
Shizuka is the GOAT host for Japan by Food, but Stephanie is an amazing addition coming in from a tourists perspective. Really looking forward to seeing more of her! ❤
Stephanie's positive attitude is infectious. She's just plain awesome. Wonderful addition to your team. As someone who is learning the language, I can totally relate to her, and I'm sure thousands of others can too.
Yay! A new Stephanie video. Fun video and I like that her videos at least so far, seem more geared towards newcomers to Japan. Shizuka is more of the intermediate guide. Anyway, I like Steph’s bubbly personality. She makes these a breezy watch. When I was in Tokyo last October, I definitely used google translate to help me out.
You got it! Videos with Stephanie are very much geared towards newcomers and to give them confidence when traveling Japan without speaking the language!
Great vid guys! Tip when visiting Ramen shop with vending machine ticket and no pic/English, always pic the top left one as thats usually the shop's recommended dish. 😊
I really love this channe, even I live in Canada as Japanse for about 20years, or may be that's why though lol. it's so fun to going back to japan for food, for shopping and to do or visit any country side. anythings cheap now so bettrer visit now or soon if you have not visited. But please do not disturb local comunity in country side. It's getting worse & worse. like visiting Lawson where ppl can se mt Fuji. or make initial mark on bamboo trees in Kyoto's Arashiyama. pls take a bit of time to learn for things like what we can do and what we shouldn't do in Japan. if who knows most of them, Japanese will wellcome you guys to come.
Another great video. Stephanie is doing a great job and I'm looking forward to seeing more of her. Since both hosts seem pretty fashionable, maybe have an episode showing some fashion trends in Japan? I know, this is a food and travel channel, but it could be fun. Anyway, keep up the good work! ✌🏿
You seem like a very nice person but those nails, when you did a close up of the Shushi I didn't even see it. All I noticed were the daggers at the end of your fingers. Sorry.
Great job Stephanie. Very informative with a healthy dash of enthusiasm. You are well on your way in being a seasoned veteran of the channel. Looking forward to your next adventure.
Yay! I love to see this type of vlogs where the host shows real world issues and how to solve them. Thank you to Stefatty and Japan by Food for this. This makes me feel more comfortable and confident to book a trip to Japan because one of my biggest fears is the language barrier I will be facing when I come visit. I'm still very nervous about how to book hotels and places to stay as well as how to order food and what to order but videos like this will help me get over the fears and just enjoy my time there.
Not trolling but just want say kool nails heh odd for them to edit it them out… btw I wish they had online reserve for seating I know they have for Japanese but just give even chance just to help for those that don’t have time get a chance get a seat instead waiting for 1-2 hours..
Got to be careful with the translator because sometimes the meat you order is not what you think it for example 桜肉 often translate into something else. Also many times has a hard time with hand written menus.
Knowing me, I would just end up using colloquial sign language. Lol. Looking like Zoolander trying to break into a computer. That was specific. Haha. Cheers.
Sorry to say this but I can't stand watching Stephanie due to her nails and the fact that you've photoshopped it out of your thumbnail seems to show I'm not the only one here.
Lots of potty breaks for Stephanie in this episode to cope with all the sampling she is achieving. She could adopt the Ancient Roman way of eating lots of delicious food by periodically sticking her finger down her throat and emptying the contents of her stomach however, it could be dangerous with those blades she wears on her fingers.
Hi Stephanie, I speak English very well, and I really like your Australian accent. Maybe we could go to dinner together sometime? Is not out of topic right? This is a food channel. I once asked Shizuka out, but she didn’t reply (she must have put my invitation in her spam folder!)😛😉😂🍣🍜
I don't like her nails. I know it is not related to the topic of the video, but also in Stephanie's first video for japanbyfood, I recognized her nails.
I see that Stephanie is still cramming too much food in her mouth..Why does she take such a big bite of food and then cover her mouth while she struggles to chew..This annoying habit made me stop watching her RU-vid channel. But I see that life is still easier for the beautiful people. Way to go Steff!
