There will never be a runner as elegant and perfect as Letesenbet Gidey. Watching her is an emotional experience - you just know you are watching someone born to do this. And she is stunningly beautiful also!

She checks her watch right before she does it. "T minus zero, it's time!" She must have been 17 at the time, but already methodical, with that amazing bouncy stride.

The two Kenya ladies scarified second place by try hard to drop Gidey. They paid the price at the end got taken over by another Ethiopian that was running some distance back
