WOW that's awesome, I always wanted to see how to do this.......I used to go to a Chinese/Asian restaurant in Atlanta that did this with a ginger asian sauce....i had the guy write down the name of the dish so I could order it every time.....it was written in his language.....i carried that paper in my wallet for several years
I was on a cruise and we stopped at a small Caribbean island and had the best snapper I've ever eaten. It was was many years ago I don't remember where we were but there were piles of conch, oyster, etc. shells behind the restaurants.
Idk if it’s just me…but I LMAO twice…1st: “I don’t really mess with the head, I’m still an American”…and 2nd: “I like to move my meat around…especially when you have a piece this long”… thanks for the tips and tricks. I just got back from DR and had this on the beach. My wife is from the Caribbean, so I am hoping this held me impress her back in the states.
There was a restaurant in Boca Chica, Plaza de Pescado, it burned down in 2022. An ole Haitian lady there made the best fried snapper I’ve ever tasted. They used to laugh at me because of how I would sit there and suck the fish backbone after I ate all the meat off. Man it was good!!!!
Looks absolutely amazing!!! Quick question...when the butcher cleaned it I am guessing they descaled as well...is that right? Probably a stupid question but I want to make sure. Thanks!
@@AllWingsEverything i asked you because i do not know , just does not sound like an old traditional recipe if they use a store bought seasoning in there ingredients lol so perhaps its a new recipe someone came up with or maybe improvised on
Who said it was old traditional? It's Dominican style. Just because something is a certain style doesn't mean it was created in the 1800s. Do you have any idea how long adobo seasoning has been around? Do you know the ingredients of adobo seasoning? You ever heard of Chicago Pizza? Its not old and traditional it's just their style of making pizza.
@@AllWingsEverything all im saying is that it dont sound like much of an authentic recipe or made from scratch if they are actually using a store bought adobo seasoning unless that was your variation on it this is why i ask, i am assuming they make there own adobo seasoning but maybe im wrong and they also use the store bought stuff thats why i am asking ,no need to get uptight and defensive not a good quality for a youtube blogger
Bruh, I don't care what you consider a good quality of a Content Creator. You really don't have to be on my channel. You can go elsewhere...I really don't care.
Yo bro,I made this Boca Chica fried dish of yours tonight and it really exceeded my expectations!!!Thanx for sharing.I've often wondered how those girls on Boca Chica Beach make such delicious Dominican Boca Chica Fried Fish. You know...what seasonings they use....Well,thanx for revealing the secret recipe bro!!!!Mine came purrfect!!I am having a salad, some fried sweet plaintains, and a couple of glasses of my favorite Brugal Dominican Rum to accompany!!!As I eat this,I imagine that I am on the beach,in Andres,Boca Chica, watching sweet, sexy nubile Domincan honies walk along the waterfront!!!!!AAAAAAhhhhhh!!!! Heaven bro, heaven!!!! Great job bro!!! Thanx once again for sharing this vid!! Phil....from the Dominican Heights,New York City.
Glad to hear this. You went ahead and made a whole Dominican meal with the plantains and the Brugal😂. I love it. I'm envisioning them as you speak...lol! You're welcome and thanks for giving it a try.
@@AllWingsEverything It's really great bro!!It's the closest I can get to Boca Chica Beach without having to buy a plane ticket:)!!!And guess what??? I made myself another Boca Chica Fried Fish dinner for myself tonight, again!!!So that should say it all!!And it comes out perfect everytime. Thanx alot bro. You be well and stay Blessed!
@@AllWingsEverything yes that is usually how it may sometimes come when in a plastic wrapped package ,but you made it sound like someone cleaned it for you personally then package warped it with the store label and price like pre packaged meats lol
Thanks fried fish won't be the same after this one. And the knife I bought from another Content Creator @smokin&grillinwitab You can go to his site and purchase one.
@@AllWingsEverything naw the recipe was good I was referring to how high the oil level was… can’t be risking burning down the spot we need these videos 💯
Wow!!! He didn’t even wash the fish first especially on the inside then rub the fish with the lime or lemon to cut down the fish smell as it cooking. Noooo I couldn’t eat his fish.
You don't know what I did because you weren't in my kitchen. And I did clean and wash my fish just because I didn't show it doesn't mean I didn't do. And you weren't invited nor asked to eat my fish, so who cares whether you eat it or not. Lame😂🤣
@@AllWingsEverything Thank you for making my point!! After what i saw i'm glad not to get an invite. But when you're cooking on the internet, it's important to show all the steps including "THE CLEANING PROCESS" for any seafood or meat??? For some viewers this maybe the first time they're learning to cook. You shouldn't have a channel if you're going to be so sensitive to comments. I can recommend some good cooking channels to help you learn and practice from. Bon Appetit 🍴
@@sapphire2122 I'm not sensitive I just couldn't care less about you or your comments. How about you start a channel and show people how to clean fish if it's that important to you? The problem with that is nobody would watch it...lol! 100K check the scoreboard. Lame🤣😂
Your title to this video is misleading because your recipe is Dominican style inspired it isnt exactly how the Dominicans execute their snapper recipe. The carribeans do not put seasoning in their flour they only use the seasoning directly on the fish. Only black Americans use all that season in the flour which makes the recipe unhealthy because it's too much sodium.
It's not misleading at all. I'm very aware as to how Dominicans prepare their food. I live in the Dominican Republic and I'm married to a Dominican woman so to insinuate I don't know the culture is ridiculous. And some Dominican do season their flour. However, my videos are just guidelines, feel free to season and cook to your food to your desire. But this is how I prepare mine. Prepare yours the way you want to. So adding season to flour makes it unhealthy rather than it being cooked in hot grease...lol! SMH.
