Thanks for putting this up Ross/Bill - quality piece of work. It’s 3 years tomorrow that Dom passed away, so I’m gonna raise a glass to him tonight and enjoy his documentary. RIP to the multi talented Dominick Montiglio #Manchester #UK
Right. It’s depressing to look at. Seeing how things are now, it’s night and day. The only benefits to social media is to be able to see and hear stories like this. The internet as a whole destroyed society.
RIP Dominic 🙏❤️🇮🇹. I'm so glad you weren't murdered by your own uncle. You were basically a kid who was kidnapped by his own uncle. You were one tough man. Survivor of Brooklyn and the Vietnam war.
@@BrushCountryAg06anything is possible.. 900 meters would be like utilizing a .22 like artillery.. I can't see how anyone could that accurately... but the only thing I hate more than Cho Mos and liars are the online monkeys who call BS about a man they don't know. Reminds me of libtard simps... a waste of freedom and fresh air.. 😅
About time dom's story is told because it's some life he had and to think of the idiots on line who said he was never in the army was never a Vietnam veteran, RIP Dom.
I read murder machine its basically what Dom experienced in his life. I watched something on him, that crew he was in they had an ARSENAL of weapons!! He said the crew had a flipping rocket launcher.m60s maddone!!!
NOBODY not even gotti was terrified with the Brooklyn crew..gotti had to wait for key members to get clipped especially Roy demeo before he made his play for boss be cause the Brooklyn crew WOULD NEVER go for castellano being hit.gotti bided his time then made his play for boss.everyone in the Gambinos were afraid of the demo/gaggi crew one more thing with castellano out of the way there was no fear of being clipped for dealing drugs especially heroin anymore.castellano hated drugs!
He died ? damn I use to wAtch a documentary with him in it about how when he was I. California and just got out of the military and went and seen the god father he knew then he had to go back to new York ..classic line in a documentary.
Ah shit ! I read the book 20 yrs. about Roy , his crew and Dom. A month ago the Gemini Twins get released out of the can. This morning I'm browsing at 3.a.m. and find this gem !! Wonderful surprise! Great job capturing the real Dom ! Thank you so much ! You made my day !!
Dominick Montiglio's story hits me like no other. I've listened to many testimonies from former criminals, but none have resonated with me as deeply as his. When he speaks, you can feel the weight of his pain and regret in every word. It's almost unbearable to hear sometimes, especially when he talks about his dreams and the haunting visions of his past. His journey from a vibrant young person with so much potential in music and sports to someone ensnared by darkness and crime is heartbreaking. His story isn't just about the consequences of his actions; it's about the profound struggle with evil and the devastating impact it had on his life. What strikes me most is his honesty and raw emotion. In his interviews, he doesn't sugarcoat his mistakes or the depths of despair he experienced. His dream about Roy DeMeo calling him to hell is chilling-it's a stark reminder of the spiritual and moral battles he faced. Listening to Dominick's testimony isn't just about hearing a cautionary tale; it's about witnessing a soul grappling with redemption and the aftermath of bad choices. It reminds me of the importance of resilience and the power of personal transformation. His story serves as a poignant reminder for me to choose a path of goodness and resilience in the face of temptation and darkness.
It's a shame that the only motion pictures film about this Subject is the Iceman.i remember Dominick saying "Why would we need a Polock to carry out a hit?We had an army of killers.Great Documentary by the way.
What a life!! It's almost Forrest Gump-like with everything he went through.. I've watched almost all of your other vids with him and you can't help but fall in love with the guy. Probably the best mobster story I ever heard. Thanks for doing this, you did an incredible job! I too will toast to his 3yr passing. Big respect! 👊
I’m at the 38 minute mark. He can laugh about murders ect as though nothing fazes him yet it’s amazing how just thinking of his dad can bring such strong emotion.
I've noticed over the years that Dominic changed or embellished different facts, he did interviews for decades and went from being remorseful to laughing about murders.
"Touching, moving, sadness, let the bad guy win every once in a while. There's more; I cannot find the words, but the context is in silence. A great documentary with depth. Thank you Bill & Ross. Rest in peace Dominic."
I bought this a few years ago. Think it was 10 bucks, loved Dom rip my brother. A part 2 would be great and if it's not free I'm buying that one also. Dom was a great story teller..
He's saying the truth; however, Vinny Mook wasn't looking to kill him nor Nino Gaggi. That was a real mistake and/or sin. When Vinny got blown up but survived, that should have been payback enough, especially after seeing The Godfather because Don Corleone wouldn't even kill those guys that raped the daughter of Amerigo Bonasera. I only bring up the movie because so many mobsters have praised the film and stated that it was a good reflection of "The Life." I don't blame RIP🪦 Dominick, like the retired detective said, Dominick could have been killed for refusing. I blame Roy and especially Nino. Killing Vinny (after blowing him up) was so unfair, and it was bad Karma. We all know what happened to Roy DeMeo, and Nino Gaggi died of a heart attack at age 62. This is an excellent documentary film, and perhaps it will become a movie in the future. The script writes itself. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 In fact, the movie could open with Dominick having that recurring nightmare about Roy and other members of the Gemini Lounge asking him to come with them to Hell. That's a hair-raising nightmare that brings goosebumps.
A good movie but it wasn't a good depiction of the life. It was how the mob liked to been seen. That's why a lot of them praised it. It's a glorified version of the life. In reality there are more Solozzo's than Vito Corleone's.
Damn it’s finally here on RU-vid and I missed the premiere. Thanks Ross and crew for this film/documentary and thank you for your story Dominic you lived a crazy, stressful, regretful life that you got sucked into. Not to say Dominic was a Saint he went along with it and he payed the price with his mental health, addictions, poverty, Etc. but in the end Dominic had a good heart and told 1 of the greatest mafia stories ever. Rest In Peace Dominic Montiglio I really mean that I hope you are finally at peace with The World, yourself, and God! Saluti!
@35.54 I smile every time i see the clip of Dòm with that beautiful smile just a happy innocent child. He sþill seemed a genuine straight forward bloke.
Wow what a brilliant watch. His life story is a movie no doubt. Imagine being in Vietnam then being a street soldier for the Mafia. What a life he had. R.I.P. Dominic. You are at peace now.🙏
Some powerful stuff. As dark as Dominic's story may be, there's something inspiring about a guy that went through so much shit and still a humanity about him............i can't say any more. Life is a strange bit sometimes.
This is awesome, especially hearing from guys who served with him. One guy says something who knows if it's true but this guy really went through the shit! Nino was a jerk not to help his music career.
When you see dominick in a mob documentary you just know it’s going to be a good one, the first time I watched loyalty & betrayal I was completely drawn to everything he had to say, he was a brilliant storyteller, RIP Dominick
"Chad Allington" - lol. Had never seen that part before. Just wanna say that the Danny Grillo story was one of the first videos I saw featuring Dom, and that story (w the outstanding production behind it) is absolutely gripping. Wasn't surprised that it's placed in the dead center of this film, as it's one of the most compelling mob-related pieces of media I've ever seen.
33:20 The Reason Arab Countries Prefer Cloth Seats OVER Leather Seats Is Because The Weather In Those Regions Are Ridiculously Hot And The Leather Would Burn The Skins. Not A RELIGIOUS Thing FYI
I think he said a quite a few 'questionable' things. I suppose that's to be expected sometimes. Especially when he was talking about things occuring a long time previously. Unlike some in similar positions as Dom, I don't get the vibe that he was purposefully straight lying but then again that's just a feeling.
"Joey Dracula". Goddamn, only the MOB comes up with these nicknames. Wonder if Dom would be surprised seeing one of the Gemini twins getting out like Senter has.
We will only know a small portion of what this man has seen and experienced. More documentation should have been made, and should be made. His story- past, shaped and molded by the mob, trained to kill by the Army, connected, his mentality today- his life could be broken down to make all sorts of interesting perspectives of the interworking of the mob
I remember watching documentaries with Dom years ago I always liked the way he talked he had a hard life being around that life and u could tell it took its toll RIP use did a great job with this
@WorldChamp12 True, all the CGI in the world could convince me that a 75 year old man was laying a beating on the shopkeeper who hit his daughter. I thought he was going to break his hip trying to kick the man.😂
Yeah but there are some very good directors out there who ain't up there in age who would do fine actors too Scorsese would be the number 1 choice of course...
Imagine living the life he lived 😮 just crazy . I was involved in crime myself and was involved in alot of stuff but his story is on another level. Doms the real Micheal coreleone 😊
I've commented before and I will again . A true gangster . Soldier in the US army. An artist . Musician. A true man . No lies just a man . R I P DOM . xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx😢
When his uncle said “you gotta make your bones” to a Vietnam vet lmao what a clueless man nino was shame he didn’t give his nephew more respect for what he did overseas 💯🇺🇸💪🏻
This was very well put together. Wish I could’ve met Dom he seemed like he had a good heart, just happened to have a disturbed mind also. We all have our issues. Life happens. God bless.
