I have to say it, but archontechna is literally one of those that really represents the atmosphere in Warhammer 40k, every time I listen to a song from another channel it doesn't make me feel like I'm in "battlefields" or something like that. excellent work Archon, your music could easily be implemented in something related to Warhammer 40k
Thanks! I'm really happy that you think my music evokes the 40k vibe. I love the specific grimdark atmosphere of 40k so I'm glad others think my music fits it well.
@@Archotechna It really does. I personally thought that will never hear anything like i did when played Warhammer 40000: Mechanicus, but your music is something incredibly right with that vibe. Many thank's. Omnissiah bless you.
@@Archotechna Yes it absolutely fits the setting perfectly. Like, i would be delighted to see your music make a little appearance in the new mechanicus game. not surprised, but delighted.
Praise the Omnissiah! The Golden Path trough Order and Chaos, Expansion and Decay, Live and Death. A holy Halo. Never starting, never ending... Always present.
(general Grievous voice) A fine addition to the collection! Opinion: It fun to see your experiment with the range of mechanics hallmarks. The organ, the mechanical droning, the almost distinguishable chanting. I admit im a sucker for the pipe organ more than the others but this provides a focus study for the buzzing/pulsing in the same way "deep in the mechanicum" does for the pipe organ. Makes the 'album' feel diverse and exploratory. Im unlikely to listen to this one on loop, but I would never exclude it from a playlist. Brainstorm: You know the voices of the characters in mechanics? I think it would be worth playing with those as elements. Like have Faustinus giving a sermon to the backbeat of the synthhammers and organ highlights? Could let you explore the confines of the genre without losing the vibe. I look forward to seeing where you go with this next!
Thanks, yeah it's definitely more on the synth/electrical side than the religious instrumental side. I've been thinking of that exact idea haha, but I'll need to experiment with it and see if I can do a good job with it first. Faustinius' voice is incredibly well done so it'll be a challenge to get something of the same caliber.
@@Archotechna Maybe start with something like the pause or break to pivot to a big drop or shift beat? A few 'lines' of speech followed by a change of pace. See "Lord & Master" and "good news" by 'Apashe' for samples of what I mean. As always, do what make sense for you!
I'll definitely have a look at those references. As for the approach I'm tending to lean away a bit from the speaking just before a drop just because it reminds me a bit much of the heavy use of that approach in EDM music. But if I struggle to incorporate it differently then I'll have to go that route. There's a good chance it's so often used like that for a good reason 😅
bless my luck, new Archotechna to brighten my days! really like the sounds used in this one like the electric pulsing and chain rattling (?) - the faint clang/chime that shows up in the background periodically reminds me a lot of Noosphere.
Nice! I'm glad my music improves your day. I think the chain rattling sound you're referring to is a gear lever rotating. But I eq'd it quite heavily so maybe it sounds more like a chain now.
Praise be! The Magos Auditori has granted us another sermon! Adepts of the Mechanicus, let us join in righteous communion with the machine! Love seeing your progress and experimentation. Really like the droning vibe this one has, looking forward to seeing more!
and again, I can see how you masterfully manipulate data, creating a symphony of radiant and golden rays of holy information. Glory to the driving force that gives you strength. *Ave Deus Mechanicus*
That's one of things I wake up to? Holy Omnissiah it shall compels the Machine Spirit of my desktop (a whole temple to IT as a whole) to greater performances. Praise be Archotechna!
Really nothing to say. Just a pleasure to listen to. You manage your different bass layers really well. It's very clean and so mechanicum. Perfect for rereading Legion ! Tanks to share your music with us
@@Archotechna that's a nice idea, but if you could consider doing more looped versions on Ko-Fi, I'd gladly throw some dollars to get them for my video backgrounds, those pieces are amazing
Ah I see what you mean. I'll have a look at them and see if it's possible to get them looping cleanly. I've used different methods of mastering my music and some of them make it hard to edit now. I'll reply on this comment again with an update
Praise and glory to the Machine God as it did guided me today to this miraculous discovery of this audio vox creator. Keep up the good work Tech Adept. Your works inspire me and i hope to hear from you more. I've been looking for more creators of Adeptus Meechanicus or W40k in general inspired music. I'm still looking for someone making long soundscapes that aint 2-5 minute songs looped to a 1 hour video. Absolutely no offence to Dream Clinic and Domains of Ambience... i relay liked yours too, but it gets kinda repetetive after long use as backgroud music for work :)
Thanks, yeah I know what you mean, but it would take a huge amount of work to be able to create a high quality long soundscape that isn't repetitive. When I've got enough tracks out I'll release them as collective in one video and hopefully it can last a little while without it feeling too repetitive.
Yeah, me too. I release as frequently as I can but juggling it with other priorities in life can be difficult. If I try too hard to pump them out quick I'd risk losing quality so it's a tricky business.
You know what, the music is cool, but in my opinion a little too little in the atmosphere of adeptus mechanicus. Maybe try to make the music more church-like, with an organ, maybe some singing in Latin, and some church bells
@@Archotechna If you'd like, I can send you the piece I reworked. I have changed the tone of voice and I have cast the prayer in my native language and in Latin.
