When Dr Michelle Oakley is called to check out the health of a Wolverine in captivity, she is shocked and bewildered at the very close and apparently trusting relationship between the Wolverine and its keeper. Wolverine’s are wild and ferocious animals, that have the power to seriously injure a person within seconds. So just how trusting will this one be, when Dr Oakley has to give it an injection?

I love how he talks to the wolverine as his child like "Ooh my goodness! It's all over now! That wasn't so bad!"

@@kingfisher7960Grizzlys are bigger and more powerful. If he would walk a bear or a lion the THAT would put him in a dangerous situation. I don't know why wolverines have such bad reputation of being killing maschines? Have any wolverine killed someone in America? We have wolverines in Sweden too, and there are no attacks on humans what so ever. Bears attack humans from time to time, and there's been several attacks during the years. Again, I think wolverines have a bad reputation for being ferocious and have a blood thirst. Similar situation with the European badger. There's an old myth that you should have eggshells in your boots because if a badger attacks you, it will bite untill your legs starts to crack. Now, I don't know where that myth comes from honestly. There have never been such attacks here actually. I've seen wild badges upclose multiple times and the only thing they did was trying to run away from me.

I love the interaction between Steve and the wolverine. I know it’s an aggressive animal, but when you gain their trust, an amazing bond is formed that you can never forget. Kevin Richardson shows that with his relationship with lions and hyenas, so I’m guessing that Steve here is like the Kevin Richardson of Alaska?

The wolverine can kill him in 2 seconds? I'm pretty sure it takes longer than that and the man has plenty of time to defend himself.😂😂😂 Also, wolverines are not monsters. If he were kissing the movie character Wolverine, that would had been a different story...😂😂😂 This vet just has a phobia for wolverines. I don't know why.
