What ever he is saying is fact I happened to be with him whilst in Ghana before my brother helped him move to Canada. Erico is very truthful with his saying
I’m hundred percent agreed with this brother because if you have struggled in Ghana in your life before then you’ll know that abroad is the second haven on earth. Truthfully spoken bro.
He has said it all. I bought my first car (Toyota Rav 4) as a student in KNUST when I got my visa to go on holiday. After I completed the University I got my working holiday visa and the rest is glorious history ❤❤❤.
I was a journalist with 12 years of working experience before leaving Ghana, and i am in South Korea, currently, and I will attest to all that Papa Ziliwa is saying. Charlie feature him more often on your show.
Well said Brother; I hope South KOREA is treating you well? Korea is one of the best place to make life it only need strength and you will surely make it. May God give you power to stand in for the hard toil.
I enjoyed the interview. Aburokyire de3 3y3 paa…get ur nkrataa, 3noaa no no🤩, it’s winter and I already have some beautiful summer wears, waiting for summer to slay in them 🤩😂, but I’ve really learnt a lot from him on a more serious note. God bless him
Your smile is infectious and made for the show. Great video. Small correction. The traffic light was actually invented by a black person in the US like MANY other products and services. Africans are great. Religion is the problem. (Not spirituality)
This guy is not giving you the right picture of Canada. If you are a middle level income earner please manage your resources well and you will be better off. All that glitters is not gold. A word to the wise is enough.
The average income earner still hss access to this video, unfortunately😂. But he said , if you’re living on a veranda, it’s the best. When I was in Ghana, I bought a big American fridge, then I left for Uk after 3 years only to find out that the modern fitted kitchen has tiny fridges which pissed me off to the extent that I had to buy an extra fridge at my expense, meanwhile I had hopes that things are far better here. If things are better for you in Ghana and you leave for menial jobs abroad, you’ve just increased your workload. Those who know do know. Everyone is welcomed to explore, but be ready for every surprises and shocks. It will be well.
But just a point of correction: Garrett Morgan a black African American invented the Gas mask and the Traffic 🚦 light. I honestly like this man's level of reasoning and his perspective on life. Especially how he said the diasporans can help develop our motherland but for the mindset of the indigenous people it's virtually a very difficult hurdle. Very interesting conversation
My dear brother I’m in Canada 🇨🇦 Montreal, I agree with you a 100 💯 percent yes 👍🏾. But I thing I don’t agree with you is mam are the ones paying the rent and women buying the food, because food is cheap no no and no. Buying food is very expensive then rent, and I prefer we do everything together then separately. I know some people spent more than $1000 dollars a month for groceries and our Ghana food is very expensive but we have no choice. I really like his idea 👍🏾 and interesting interview 😊😅😂❤❤
Rent is different for us here in Toronto Maame….i have lived in Montreal before and cost of living between the two provinces is different…..Remember Toronto is the main hub for all travels settling into Canada…..everything is expensive
@@thomasofosu1021 Things have changed us you saying and I don’t know 🤷🏼♀️ when you left here, but now everything is changed and expensive. If you’re talking about living in Toronto and same the way I’m talking about living in Montreal.
Some of his advice is true but not all of them..Canada have a high rate of accommodation and pls do not sell your house or Businesses to travel and it's also depends what type of business..it will take you years to build a house even if you work two jobs in Abroad think..this is my little advice
my brother i wonder why anyone in this day and age will sell their property to travel abroad..hhmm as it stands now in Ghana no property is sold in Ghana Cedis ..all properties are sold at the dollar equivalence ....no matter the work you are doing abroad you cant afford a normal 3-bedroom house in any prime area in Ghana... the least you can get a property in Ghana now is above US$250,000.00 ...and it will take you not less than 30 years to make this money abroad if you are being realistic
@@ghanagunnertv7627 Your analysis sums up how Ghana is messed up…….You are in Ghana but your properties are sold in dollars. Is that not enough to tell you that Ghana is finished? Do you know that $250,000 can get you a decent 4 bedroom or 5 bedroom house in a the beautiful city of Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow or Liverpool? Which city in Ghana can be compared to any of the cities listed above? Ghana is finished!!!
I agreed 100% with this brother. Especially in the U S. If you are not lazy and can work hard, like 18 to 20 hours everyday. You can achieve and accomplish EVERY dream that you have in your heart. You can never ever have the chances here in the US to try other countries on the earth. Especially not in Ghana.
Yes fully 5months from work paid 1 month paid from my state and rest 1 month is not up paid parental leave but I chose not to use my accrued vacation for the 1 month. So, six (6) months paid
Erico, I enjoy listening to you and the confidence you share with your traveling experiences but please Obroni did not invent traffic light. Let try and also read wider and know that not everything we see around us is invented by Obroni as we are made to believe. Garrett Augustus Morgan Sr. Invented the traffic signal in 1923. He was an African American! A Black man!!! Let’s share the knowledge
Don’t lie to people, my nigga! What about LESTER WIRE who developed the first electric traffic light in 1912? This guy you’re referring to only made a slate signal that needs to be turned manually by a traffic attendant in 1922. Learn your facts thoroughly before you make bold statements.
U see the way he talks abt work work work. If u apply this same mentality in Ghana. Trust me you’ll also make it in here. Even if you’re a salary worker try & create a side hustle to double up. Atleast work between 10-14hrs to maximize wealth
Bro, I work almost 13/hrs a day as a Mason in this Ghana do u know how much I make? How can u compare someone working as a Mason in Canada to me? What the man is saying is true.
@kingroll7026 and so what will u eat after sleeping in the house you built. U come back to square on brother. Why not seek residency first with that money and build later. My humble opinion. Big love from Burlington 🇨🇦
@AbenaFrempoma-jb2vr I was not having papers last 3 years.. I saved money and did my papers. Now am earning more than 3 times the work I was doing because I was illegal, I couldn't get the best of jobs. Now, if I say I want to build in Africa, imagine what I can do in just a matter of time. If u plan to stay abroad permanently, I suggest u save and look for documents first. If u are just passing through, build in Africa. My humble opinion 😊. Greetings from 🇨🇦🇨🇦
Ooh woow Papa Ziliwa,I also went through similar experience.I was in Legon at the time you graduated 1999 (you remember the demonstrations against academic user fees). As I couldn’t get opportunity for law or business school it settle on me to find ways and means to travel.I finally did to London on vacations, after my final year exams left Ghana immediately without attending graduation ceremony with the 2yr working holiday maker visa with my fiancée.I returned to Ghana to switch status to student and got into trouble with the high commission.I had to stay in Ghana from 2005 till 2011 when I had opportunity to visit Germany and came back to Ghana and applied for US visa and successful. It was a roller coaster journey just like yours. Will be nice to link up anytime you in NY.We share the same hustle and finally making it 🙏
Compare US to Canada, Canada has a very high tax system. when we check the richest countries, Canada even doesn’t come into first 5.. The richest country is the US, followed by china
He is hipping where his blessing s are ,Some body like Dr Despite or Ofori Sarpong Etc will Say Ghana is Heaven because they have everything in Ghana they never lack Nothing ,yesss
Because our medical system is free and a lot more. After giving birth we stayed home for one year, but US 🇺🇸 don’t have and we’ve. I came in peace ✌🏾 no insult ✌🏾✌🏾😊😅❤❤
@@maameserwaa9540 That is nice you Guys are enjoying in Canada ,but we lately heard about those homeless people Story why the Government don't get them Social Accomodations, like Germans etc does , or even those Small capsules houses the prices start from $4.000 Dallars to $25.000 Dallars 💸💸 ,it will help this homeless situation ,,it breaks my heart when I saw even Women with their Children Homeless over there, nice knowing you maame Sewaa.
Aburokyire nyinaa chief is US…. Canada, Australia and UK are the smaller chiefs and the rest are the people. US de3, Canada is way way below in almost everything
I disagree with you on your Canadian analogy! Ghanaians were in Canada, in the 80s, but the climate didn’t encourage people to go there. Also, Canada, is a very conservative country and likes to control their population, hence they weren’t issuing visas.. apart from this, I agree with most things you said.. beautiful engagement though..
Say that again bro ,if not this by Road trip to hustle in near by African country s working in fishing Versel s and later by Road trip to Europe 🌍 I don't know where I will have been by now ,I am also the Kingkong of my Family, because I risk the road trip , my family is poor ,Ecept my only favourite Cousin who school well and now working at Zoom lion Office,
Came back in September from Ghana till date the money sent to Ghana is 4.000 euros yet Ghanians receiving money out of their economy from the diaspora are still complaining man you are right Ghanians must change their habit back home else they will stay as they are.
One of my uncle went to UK in the 60s and another went to Canada in the 70s. He's was Asanteman hene. Ghanafuo has known of Canada before 2000s but most didn't like going there because of the extreme weather.
