I’m a huge homage fanboy!! So long as they don’t use the same branding on the dial I think you can be ok with calling it a homage and not a fake. Example, putting superlative chronometer on a homage watch that obviously isn’t is fake, or a watch that says Rolex or other name brand when it isn’t is fake. Otherwise homage watches are fine by me, they have helped me narrow down what I actually do want for my luxury piece. Great video and photog as always Mig!!! Re this watch, not for me, not quite a fan of this case shape and size.
Very Interesting watch. I don’t mind this homage watch 99.99% of people aren’t going to be picking up a Richard Mille. Homage watches are definitely not a fake watch but they are a little of a grey area if you ask me. I don’t mind it though this hobby is all about doing what you want so if it makes you happy to wear homage watches than go for it

Great photography 👍. On homages, as long as they don't set out to deceive I am fine with them. I never thought I would buy one until I found a turtle homage that corrected all the things I didn't like about the Seiko srp777 (new handset and dial without the day) when I realised I could have the watch I wished Seiko made, it was 1/3 the price, had a Seiko movement just like the original and added sapphire and a ceramic bezel, I had to buy it.
Can anyone tell me if this watch will tell time differently from my $20 Skechers watch or the time display on my cell phone because I don't get it spending anything over $20 for......time.
It’s not about telling time, it’s a lot deeper than that. Once you’re truly into this hobby you start to understand what can’t be easily put into words.

if you like it get it the reality is how many can go buy a 500 grand RM exactly even if you could makes more sense to buy real estate gold etc watch collecting doesn't mean you have to always buy expensive watches I have all types of watches from Casio to Rolex be happy do research buy smart enjoy
I don't mind homages in general but I do think the AliExpress blatant copies have been glorified too much by the fellow youtuber reviewers and run along this gray line. They are not replicas by definition perhaps, but I guarantee you they come down the same assembly line/plants than the replica watches come from lol They essentially fuel the replica industry and are built in parallel to them most likely considering they all come from the same region in China. My 2 cents of course.
