Just 2 normal units of salah the way you'd pray for fajr. If you are asking for the intention you should make before the prayer, then having it in your heart that you are praying "tahiyyatul masjid", the units of entering the mosque. Don't say this on the tongue tho
Asalamoa'laikom it doesn't matter just pray two rak'at, but if in the masjid, if it is almost time to pray fard in congregation, and there isn't enough time to pray two rak'at then remain standing or if the congregation is done praying fard and you come in then just pray the fard and that would be sufficient.
