Wow the tittle makes me sad. My hair was all the way down my back the Salon owner convinced me I should go for a summer cut. I still have long hair but I miss my hair already
That happens all the time and whilst you may be ok with it at first, regret sinks in for most people. Now there are people who want the change before they head to the salon and they are ready for the big cut but a lot of people are not. We should always be sympathetic towards people’s feeling and not try to convince people that they should do something they are not ready for. Just know that your hair will grow back and from now on, trim yourself so you don’t have to go through that again. Sending (((hugs)))to you ❤️❤️❤️
@@SimplyTamika thank you and the fact that I didn’t need all that but because I have anxiety having everyone around say do it do it. I just went with it. Also I am natural so once it was time for me to Wash it obvious it shrunk because it’s no longer in it’s stretched state. I know it may sound silly because I still have a lot of hair but it bothered me immediately after she done it. And this why I always fear to going the salon
It is so good to see you, I pray that you and your family are well ❤ Thank you for this tutorial and for encouraging and giving women grace while providing non judgmental guidance. I thought rubber bands were bad for our hair??
THANK YOU I'll definitely use this method next time.. I went to a new beautician today for a touchup and she took a picture of the back of my hair and I saw how see-through it was in some areas... I definitely needed to trim some of it off..(she put the decision in my hands by the way)it was kind of hard to part with the length I achieved but the see-through parts outweighed the darker areas... Hair is like stockings if you don't stop the run.🤷🏾♀️
Thanks for this tutorial I do a lot of self trims but struggle with them. Had a bad experience with a past beautician and one I found and liked moved back home so I’ve been trying to do it on my own. I just straightened my hair last night Im going to give this method a try.
Yes. For a professionals it does. Professionals need high quality shears so that the trims and cuts will be precise. Shears that are more expensive tend to be made of high quality materials and last many cuts and through getting them sharpened. You don't ever want shears that will snag, pull and damage your hair so that's why I place so much importance of getting a god pair that will be used only to trim your hair.
