Someone that's putting permanent ink into peoples skin should be able to do their job without needing to be watched. If someone gets the wrong order at a restaurant are you gonna tell them "well, your fault, should've been watching the cooks"?
Some ppl fall asleep, I’m one of those people the stretch of tattoo that the letters were written he could have very well zoned out. I’ve slept for hours woke up to a light tap of “hey wake up” 😂
When I got my first tattoo I was watching everything he was doing because I was curious how he worked but I also didn’t want it to be done wrong….it turned out better than I expected and from now on if I get any other tattoo I will go back and use him.
I have just over fifty tattoos. After the 4th tattoo I found a very good artist. Wayne from Body Creations on Long Island, N.Y was my tattooist from the late 80's to mid 90’s. He was a fantastic tattoo artist and everyone I knew who seen him had nothing but good things to say about him.
@@timothinking9855 I only go to a well respected guy . He does great work if not magnificent. He never does drugs in front of his clients. But he is always putting out great TINTA.
😂 friend of mine named “Tony” went to get his own name tattooed on his bicep. So he goes to some hole in the wall tells em what he wants guy does the prep shows him the drawing and placement. Tony gives the ok. Few hours later Tony is showing off his new tattoo and all of us friends are staring at it and I say I didn’t know you spell your name Tomy and it was in black ink block letters. There was no fixing that 😂 he had so many opportunities to catch it and stop the mistake but he didn’t.
Been there done that. Never made the same mistake twice. I made it a duty to triple check with my clients after something similar like this happened to me
happened to me lol,got a bull tattooed on the back of my leg,fell asleep once he started woke up In a hurry covered it and left,later on when I was cleaning it my buddy was like "you got it in red?" I just started laughing lol

I had a no regerts situation (my mistake) first time getting letters and dates. Good thing the artist in me took over and was able to get it fixed up...
Customer is always in control - so pay attention to the artist , if he’s not doing the lettering right , stop the tattoo - there’s usually other staff in the shop ❤ pay attention !! It’s a money business
My tattoo artist messed the Roman numerals I got tatted for a important date 😂 forgot one of the Ms in 2017 so I just had him throw an extra M at the end. My wife about shit when she saw
@@sdaddy2959 I mean yeah kinda except what I gave him had the Roman numerals correct, and it was my first tattoo so I had drank a bunch of alcohol to calm my nerves, so that was my mistake, but in reality you should be able to trust that at the very least the artist will transfer what you gave them accurately onto the stencil
I got my finger tatted all down the side, and it hurt so bad I wanted to scream. 😂😂😂 I'd do my back all over again before I ever touch another finger. 😂😂😂. It hurt so bad. And yes, it looks like crap.
The best thing to do is to pay half price so its fair for both sides. One night i chose to get a tattoo and when i went to my guy the only way i could show him the design was on my phone and so he started the project and half way through the session my phone went flat and there was no other way to get the design and so he asked me if he could just finish it free hand and id only have to pay half price, i said yeah brother, never regretted it turned out beautiful
Serious question to tattoo artist, what happens when you have a costumer who isnt satisfied with the work and tells you through the session they dont like hows its coming out? Do they still get charged ? Do you even finish the tatt? Or in this case lets say you make the mistake and mess up on the coloring? What happens
@@TPB_Bubblesen I signed a waver, basically it said that you are able to file a lawsuit, but it kinda has to be a good case for you to win. so I assume blatently lying about skill, giving you a completely different piece, or overall misconduct and sabotage are good reasons, but mistakes like wrong coloring is likely not going to be won unless its a major major difference in your expectation like getting a coloured peice if you wanted and stated that you wanted it to be just a fully black ink peice. whereas, if you got what you asked for but regret getting it, then you cannot win a lawsuit, or a simple colour mistake like you said.
@@mingoringo_ yeah, I think it has to be something rlllly bad. Also do people not look at all when they are getting tattooed? Like notice the wrong colours laid out on the table etc. Or seeing what is being tatted on them. I usually pay a fair amount of attention when im getting tattoos.
@@callumcoyne5850 dude I'm covered in tattoos some of the first tattoos I ever got done had red putting them every fucking one of them doesn't have red in it anymore they need to be redone they faded right out
In every situation like this, it is only the person receiving the tattoo at fault. I mean, why would anybody not watch them doing the procedure and make sure the right colors are applied correctly. Even when I receive an IV, I like to watch and make sure laces are out.
It happens I have done this no doubt!But that’s because sometimes we’re ready to tattoo and then they cancel and boom you come back in two weeks and forget the details.A tattoo is 50/50 up to both clients and artist to make a tattoo become it’s full potential are only job is make it crisp and clean the rest is a team effort.
I would have replied the red would not have looked right and I made an executive decision to use black. I knew that the red would have looked so bad that you would have asked me to do it over in black.
I'd be really mad as hell if you made that "executive decision" My money, my arm you agreed at the start to do it the way I am payin' you. So maybe I'd make the executive decision to deduct from the agreed price. So I'm sayin' better to make it look like a mistake.
I had a friend named hazer i refereed him to my tattoo artist it turns out my tattoo artist was off a edible and he spelled Los angles instead of Los Ángeles 🤣 till this day my homie been trynna cover it off 🤣🤣

1: If this is the first time he's seeing what the artist was doing, that's on the customer. 2: Red lettering will fade much quicker than the black he has.
