Hi✋✋ What about army camps? I’m K35 now and I’m using 4 army camps level 30. Recently I’ve started T14 training and I’ve noted that training time, soon, could become a problem… On the countrary, the in-city RSS impact seems smaller. I don’t know actually, but I’ve the suspect that could make sense substitute a singular tile for each type with an extra army camp (from 4 to 8). Do you know if there are others new boost for speed training? Maybe Military Academy?
One thing that should be mentioned that was not was the point at which in-city tile upgrading reaches a point of diminishing returns. Past level 25-26, the period of time you need to have elapse to just get back further upgrade costs with the increased production amount becomes just too large. If it will take you a year or 2 to see your resources back, it may not be worth it.
@@beayn I have and even level 30 requires around 3 years to break even (considering you've had your production buffs maxe out since day 1). Here is a google sheet I made. Thank you 😊🙏 I’m not sure what the fastest is, because I stopped trying to boost my world tile gathering speed once I reached a certain level. Currently, I can clean a Lv 15 tile in about 4hrs 35mins or so, depending on which of my Jindeoks I’m using. But definitely under 5hrs.
Gathering monarch crystal makes a big difference; i patrol for +3 monarch gear religiously. Currently lvl 8 all gear. I can clear lvl 15 tile in just under 5hrs. One of our players has all gold korea subs x7; he pulls just under 40m rss off a lvl 15 tile. 😍
Hello AKA. I have the 1 mph on farm and mine. Not so much on the other 2. But my question is how many army camps do I need. I have 4. I am at keep 28. I saw your video and I saw you have 3 army camps. What do you recommend? Thank you.
I guess that depends on your preference and how much troop training you want to do. I have always had only 3 army camps and I’ve been perfectly fine with that 😉👍 Some people have more, but I think 3 is the minimum you should have
Great content!!! Another video i saw mentioned that it is not worth upgrading in-city tiles beyond level 30. That the cost of upgrade after that does not give you a decent return. Would you agree with that? Stop at lvl 30?
The main point behind in-city production is to set up passive resource intake. And once set up correctly, that continuous flow of in-city resources is difficult to replace by other means👌 I know some people look at the cost of building tiles and think it’s not worth it, but I think it is a mistake to look at it purely from the perspective of return. The focus should always be on the passive intake. How far you want to take it will depend you, but at the very least, once you’ve achieved 1Mph, then you can take a step back and evaluate what you want to do from there 👍

Hi 👋 From starting out, the number of tiles you have in your keep will increase when you reach a certain keep level (can’t remember what level that was). Right now, I have 30 in-city tiles 👌
2 main things you can do to reduce upkeep: 1. Research - there is research called “Cooking” in the Defense tab in the Academy. 2. Get Shajar. She helps reduce upkeep Another extra thing you can do is to upgrade your warehouse. This doesn’t reduce upkeep, but it raises the max amount of food that is protected from upkeep 👌 Can’t really tell you how many troops to build. That will depend on you. But as a general advice, I’d say don’t worry about troops too much until you unlock T10. At that point, you can start considering building troops. Just don’t take it too far with the troops. Focus on getting a decent amount that will help with killing some bosses and PvP, if you are interested in that 😉

Love your content. Most of the advise is solid, focus on in city production, get it up. I would however keep advise to: If your food is about to get eaten by your troops, then start building some production buildings instead of wasting that food. Production buildings is a long term investment as you put down big build costs for rather low hourly gains, so I wouldn't keep a single minded focus on it. (My own production is over 1m per hour even without Shajar, talent and 24 hour buffs, so I'm not advocating for ignoring in city production, I just want to keep it in perspective.) For instance, there is a rather significant error in your logic when it come to Chinese subs... Let me explain: Let us imagine a keep with all lvl 30 production tiles, and let us imagine they all produce food so each produce 40k per hour (we imagine this because farms produce the most rss per hour.) You have 30 tiles that can produce outside of your wall.(we don't imagine they are all lvl 31 because it will cost more than 150m rss to raise one tile from lvl 30 to lvl 31, and base gain is 5k per hour, but as high as 25k per hour with really focused bonuses, so somewhere around 250 days to regain investment for a focused production keep and 3 years for someone who didn't focus on production) Maximum base output at lvl 30+ is therefore 30*40k = 1.2MRSS. As I am sure you know all percentages in Evony are added to the base stats, so a gold Chinese sub will grant you 20% boost to base rss, so it will net you 240k RSS per hour, or 5.7m rss per full 24 hour period in this scenario.. Seems pretty good right? ... Wrong. If you instead got yourself a blue Korean sub and sent 5 marches of gatherers out over night to lvl 15 tiles your korea would give you 9% extra rss out of 8.4m on all 5 marches. that is 0.15*8.4M*5 = 6.3M rss just for gathering overnight. When you get to k35 and unlock the 6th march the difference increase. Let us take a scenario where you tie up 3 of your 6 marches to gather 24 hours, let us say a lvl 15 tile take 6 hours to clear (I'll clear it in 3 hours, so 6 hours is high estimate) and you send your last 3 marches out to gather over night as well. That should allow you to clear 3*4+3 = 15 lvl 15 tiles a day and still have 3 marches free to pvp. join rallies, do barbs and whatnot. 8.4m *15 = 126M base RSS per day in gathering. A blue Korean in this example would net you 11.34M rss So about equivalent of 2 gold chinas.. A gold Korean would give you 18.9m rss, or equivalent of 3.3 gold Chinese. Even if we go by minimum effort for a keep below k35, realistically you need to log into the game 3 times per day to ensure you collect all your produced rss as they only save 12 hours of production before needing to be claimed. In this scenario you would send out 5 gatherers thrice and have a blue Korean be worth 2 gold Chinese... Heck, even a green Korean would outperform a gold Chinese sub by 1.86m rss per day... So if we say you can only farm 12 out of every 14 days to account for SvS a green korea net you 22.32M rss during farming days to make up for the lost 11.4M rss during svs that a gold china would have given. So a green Korean sub outperform a gold Chinese, even if the player holding the sub only have 5 marches and we factor in lost farming time during SvS and say the player don't want to log in more times per day than is needed to fully exploit his gold Chinese... So if you log into the game 3 times a day or more to send out gatherers, then you're better off dropping your gold China and picking up a green Korea. Don't keep your focus so set on 1mph that you forget to actually maximize your growth.
Thanks 🙏 No, my logic for the china subs is fine. From your comment, there are basically 2 assumptions you are making that are not quite accurate. The first is the purpose of in-city production. The purpose is passive rss intake - Without you having to do any significant work. Over time, the extra passive rss gained from holding a china sub are more significant that you are giving them credit for. If you have to log in 3 times a day to collect your rss, the total time you would spend would be less than 2 minutes, and that’s it. For gathering, that is an activity you consciously have to make. You also need to spend time looking for the tiles. That also begs the question: What if you don’t gather? Or you forget to? The next is on recovering your rss investment. The in-city production provides you with a constant intake stream of rss. I guess because of the nature of it: using rss to get rss, but most people don’t talk about regaining their rss investment when it comes to buildings or troops. How long would it take to regain the investment on those? For me right now, I have 1 purple china sub and several Koreas. I gather every time I log off the game for the night. So I understand where you are coming from. But one of the reasons for this video is often times, people underestimate the value of in-city rss production and that is part of what I was trying to address here 😇
Shajar was never available in the tavern, as far as I can remember. She is available in the Great General Chest 👌 She was also available as the General of the Month, so she might come up again there
I’ve got 6 quarries & 6 sawmills, 7 mines and 8 farms (if I counted correctly 😅). I’ve had these numbers for a long while, so I’ll probably be adjusting them a bit sometime soon

To get to 1 MPH do I need all China subs plus max out my advancement tree. And if so wouldn’t that put me at over a billion rrs every month. Trying to figure out if it is better to risk hours of gathering vs joining rallies. To me gathering is beneficial if you invest the time and energy. With the way the game changes being able to do multiple things is more beneficial.
First off, having the in-city production research in the advancement tree as high as possible will certainly help you getting to 1mph, so grind those out 💪 You don’t need all china subs. Yes, they would certainly help, but depending on how you play, you might want a mix of different sub cultures to benefit your overall game. Personally, I only have 1 china sub city. I would like more and better quality ones, but my server is currently on a full nap, so not much I can do about that now 😓 But even still, I’m well over 1mph. Regarding gathering vs joining rallies, that’s an important consideration. Broadly speaking, rallying is more beneficial, but there are several factors that would influence that decision. My advice is to see what works best for you. Fortunately I have plans on addressing that particular topic in the not too distant future, so stay tuned for that 😉👌
Wall generals are a bit tricky and book choices will also depend on personal preference. The 1 book you absolutely must have is Siege Range Bonus. You are free to choose the other two books. If you haven’t already, check out my Skill Book video. It might help with some insights on what to pick 👍
There’s no limit on the number of army camps you can have. The more you have, it boosts your troop training capacity and training speed. But having more means that you reduce the number of slots available for resource tiles. Personally, I have 3 army camps. I know some people have more, but that’s what works for me. If that serves as a reference for you, then that’s cool 🙂
No “best” number. It comes down to preference and whether you plan to train a lot of troops or not. You need at least 1, and as you said, I have 3. That’s fine for me. You could have more, or less if you choose. However, the more army camps you have, the fewer the slots available for resource tiles. Just something to keep in mind 👌
Intentionally left it out for 2 reasons. The main reason: It’s not necessary to achieve 1 Mph. In my case, I achieved 1 Mph long before I did any major work on my Art Hall. Same for most people that I know of. The 2nd reason: Most people develop their Art Hall as a pre-requisite for the Keep and unlock most of the buffs at the time. With the other buffs available and the General Hall, the Monalisa buff is just an added bonus that is picked up along the way. It’s not (at least for most people) a major motivation for doing the Art Hall. Also left out the Monarch Talent for In-City Rss Production as it is not necessary and clashes with Mortality. 👍 That’s not to say that they won’t help, just that they are not necessary 😉
Monarch talent on rss production can also be set in the second talent tree which is can be set as development oriented while mortality, march speed etc can remain in the primary talent tree. Highlighting these since the topic of the video was on ways to maximise in city rss production. Shajar with an unintended bubble drop is a recipe for disaster 😅
That’s unfortunate, yes. And we’ve all been caught at some point in PvP with Shajar on the wall, but when it comes to in-city resources, there is no substitute for Shajar. That’s my honest feeling 😇

bubble or trouble. do relics and use gems for 3 day bubbles, use a timer and overlap the bubbles so you never give him a chance. Join a large alliance for help growing fast and for protection in greater numbers and power.

People tend to say that after level 28 it is useless and not cost effective to upgrade in city tiles. Hahaha, they are wrong! I literally make billions per week just with in city tiles.

While you could definitely enjoy Evony as a One-Man Army 😉, it’d be much better if you were in an alliance. It’s a shame that most of your members have gone elsewhere, sometimes things like that happen. If you can manage to find an alliance that you can stand the people in there (don’t necessarily need to love them 😅😂), then I’d suggest you consider joining. I know people that have done solo before, and it can really slow things down. Hope you don’t mind this little bit of friendly advice 😇👍

If you are in a hostile server, whether you have Shajar on your wall or not, it’ll still be a problem. Just make sure that you can keep your bubble up. Best solution ever 😉👍
Again, the best solution is to keep your bubble up. 😉 Yes, having Shajar, or any undeveloped general on your wall when you drop bubble will be bad news. But you can not plan your game “in case you drop bubble”. Also, what you get for using Shajar is a whole lot more than “only some resources”.
That’s cool. You’ve been able to set up nicely and follow through developing your in-city production, which is great. At that stage, things should pretty much be on auto-pilot for you regarding production 👌
