We have foldable solar panels in our bug out bags. We also have respirators with both N100 and gas filters paired with fire goggles. The gas filters are carbon activated and will filter out gasses like hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide, etc. The fire goggles will keep smoke and gasses out of your eyes. Full face respirators take up a lot of space, and the half face respirators and fire goggles together take up less space in the bag than full face respirators.

I so greatly appreciate your videos! I am a "prepper" and always learn something from you. It's been so disheartening to me that others posting elsewhere are going down a rabbit hole of "us vs them" mentality on political issues. I get it, and I know our country is struggling. But my preps don't include hateful innuendos, making fun of others for their view, or stoking fears. So that's why I appreciate you. You're able to explain things, give ideas about world issues in a safe environment

FYI, your fuel pump is not good for gasoline. I had to find out the hard way. Make sure you read the label.

Ikr , tents ARE ridiculously priced. Wasn't THAT expensive five years ago. However , the quality etc. has gotten way better. Other items ARE hit or miss or price BUT tents ARE staying priced high.

I have various means of small pest control, but I went w an air rifle for use around my home since I live in the suburbs. I made a mistake with my first one though. I bought one in .177 caliber that was over 1100 FPS. It was very loud. I assumed that it was because the pellets broke the sound barrier. It was as loud a 22 rifle shooting shorts, or so it seemed. So I bought a 22 caliber air rifle that pushes larger and heavier pellets around 900 FPS. It's much quieter.

When you run out of ammunition with a rifle or pistol, make sure you have and know how to use a compound bow. They are quiet and may not give away your hiding place. Most of the time the arrows are reusable.

Concept of using a bow and arrow specially for stealth is undeniable. But seriously have you looked at the price of arrows lately. Buy a an extra box of bullets or more per arrow if you’re worried about running out. Even still runs out when you have to go looking for the few arrows that you’ve shot. To each their own my friend.

If you're worried about running out of bullets, carry a .22 or an air rifle. You can stockpile thousands of rounds for them. If you go the archery route, I'd lean towards crossbows, since they are easier to maintain and repair than compound bows, while keeping the low effort draw. A recurve bow is also a good choice but it requires more effort.

Arrows and crossbow bolts aren't cheap. The broad heads are often ruined the first time they are used to harvest game. They either hit bone, or pass through and hit a tree, rock, or dirt. Or you lose it. IMO, a suppressed 22LR rifle shooting subsonic ammo is much more useful for a variety of things. And it's even quieter than a crossbow, while offering quick follow up shots. Unfortunately, they are not available on Amazon though! Lol!

I built my own fuel pump to use. Got a car fuel pump for around $20.00 Got a fuel filter, 12 feet of fuel hose 6ft in and 6ft out and 20 feet of duel line wire. Think Black & Red wire, 2 small hose clamps, and 2 alligator clips. I mounted the fuel pump and some scrap wood and done. This way, it's flexable and I can make the hoses longer if needed. .it's powered via a car batt or add a lighter plug to plug it in. I have used this many times to help motorists out of gas. Also for rotating my gas supply. It's easier then holding and pouring the gas out. Just my 2 cents Good luck

You can buy little USB lights that can plug into a battery bank. I bought 10 from TEMU for 1.50. They use less than 5 watts and much brighter and safer than a candle.

I bought the LED flashlights shown here. Charged them up & took outside at night to see how good they were. It was bright. But! The flash lite got super warm. Too hot to handle. Made me a little nervous. I wasn’t sure if it would be able to be used for a long periods of time. If it was gonna overheat. I was just wondering if you had the same issue if you could let me know I did send it back, but I really like that light and that’s really what I want. I just don’t wanna have to worry about it. Overheating.
