Quebec is not officially a bilingual province. The only official bilingual province in Canada is New Brunswick. Quebec's only official language is French and they go to any extent to preserve it. That said, yes, in Montreal you do encounter people speaking English. If you are not aware of French and switch to English, many people do respond to in English. I live in Montreal so telling you based on facts and experience.

your guys forgot the capital of British Columbia, Victoria. Sure it's unaffordable like Vancouver and Toronto (where I live) but the climate is great and you can grow palm trees all year long outdoors (like Vancouver) plus it has the mildest winters of any large city in Canada.

Alberta has highest unemployment and the weather is harsher than Toronto. Why would show only one side of the story and experience in Canada. They would never talk about poverty, hard life, unemployment, RACISM, SOCIAL ISOLATION, in CANADA. Tell the truth to people.

Sure you can move but what about jobs in those provinces...loosing a job and finding the next one quicker is way easier in Toronto or Vancouver as compare to other province. If you can wait for 6 months to 1 year of unemployment before getting a job ...sure move to those places.

@@dummyaccount6230 Singapore is only good for a foreign bachelor. I am a foreigner and got kids. It is tough here when you have kids. Schools are so expensive for foreigners and have to get your own medical insurance. Even my company insurance is not that good. Rentals here is just the same in Vancouver too, actually both countries are alike. I just find it way better there since if I get PR there we can buy our own home and can drive. Here is so difficult to get PR, your home is not even yours forever too. Well anyway I made too many comparisons and it is way better for us to move there.

The description of the weather in British Columbia in the video applies only to coastal B.C. The city of Kelowna that was highlighted is in the B.C. interior, far from the pacific coast and as such Kelowna has a much drier climate than Abbottsford or Vancouver or other coastal cities.

Common, I am not saying that there are no other choices, but not matter what your best bet as far as long term economic prosperity in Canada will always be the GTA and Southern Ontario. Within that region you will have many good choices, some which over much more affordable housing, but are still connected to the GTA/Southern Ontario economy. The moment the COVID restrictions are lifted the employment rate will go back up.

Nothing really new in this video as what they are providing is all available in google. One of the main issues is to find a job because if one has a job, you can pretty well live anywhere in Canada. Jobs are few and far between in Canada except in big cities like Toronto where one can find lots of jobs that pay a little over minimum wages. Unless one has Canadian education, forget about getting a good job in Canada. Do you really think they are giving you immigration to Canada to give you a higher paying job based on your home country education? They will not recognize your degree from India or another so called developing world. That's why a lot of South Asians end up doing low-level jobs (airport cleaners, factory workers, driving taxi, etc.) with minimum or just above minimum wages. In most of Canada, the weather gets very cold (-10 degree Celsius or colder) for about 4 months, cold (below zero) for another 4 months which leaves a very short summer. Living in cold climate (winter clothing, snow tires, higher heating bills, etc) is expensive and taxes are very high in Canada. It is also hard to get a family doctor and one just end up going to a walk-in clinic. Do not expect to get a family doctor for a long time, like years sometime. When it comes to a specialist doctor, you even wait longer! If you think you will get rich coming to Canada, then find another country to realize your dreams! The number of Desi people have ruined certain areas where white folks do not even visit and buy house simply because South Asians end up behaving and living like we do back in our own country. There is no doubt it is better than India but you miss a lot to leave your own country and culture! One of the major points in Canada's favor is the small population that lives in the second largest (land area) country in the world after Russia. The problem is not migrating to Canada but how do we stop turning Canada into another India or worst even another Pakistan! We must learn to live like Canadians and not try to make Canadian neighborhoods like Indian/Pakistani! Also, we must not bring the old country problems to a new home in Canada but unfortunately we do and that is slowly giving cities like Toronto and Vancouver a bad name. God help Canada if we continue to do that in the future! As they say, when in Rome live like Romans! If you are not willing to do that, then please stay where ever you are and DO NOT come to Canada!
