You can 1v1 the cpu or 2v1 or 1v2, what you have to do is just set one of the characters to none as opposed to say itadori or megumi

You can 1v1 the computer in free play. You just need to switch off one character on each team

I think people who don’t like the game just was expecting something else and did no research. They just see their favorite anime on a cover and mindlessly buy. The gameplay is not that bad and the mechanics are interesting. The real problem with this game that was mentioned in this video is the LACK OF CONTENT. This game at best is only worth $30 and they have the nerve to price it at $70 AND have a pre-planned DLC that should of been in the base game.

I want a anime game (preferably jjk) to be like a game where you create your own character, and they get into jujutsu high and you have to learn to be a sorcerer, interacting with characters, training, leveling up, boss fights, etc. doesn’t even have to be fully open world just something like this 😭

Naruto storm, and One piece burning blood, dont have an original story but they are still good games I can agree that they could’ve done better. instead of having a power point presentation for the story mode they could’ve made actual 3d animations like every other game

The Naruto Ninja Storm games show that you don't need to have an original story, if you properly adapt the story of the show/manga. The problem isn't that the JJK games doesn't have an original storyline, its that it does absolutely nothing with the visual spectacle it was based on.

You forgot to add that they don’t have cross play or local/offline co-op battle, hopefully that gets changed in the future but man I spent my money on the deluxe edition so me and my buddies could have some fun but now you’re telling me that I can’t even do that?? What’s worse is I got the game on my switch too which barely any of my friends have and so if they wanna play with me THEY have to either spend 60 bucks on the game, buy the switch and the game, or not be able to play the game at all.. I’m just hoping they end up listening to criticism from the fanbase because this game definitely could have potential.

You can 1v1 the computer, just disable the other NPC. It’s good for training movement and combos without getting interrupted by the other people. Also, it’s not supposed to have 1v1. It’s been showcased as a 2v2 game since day one.

The only decent take here is that it wasn’t fully developed. Me and my friends definitely got the feeling that it was pushed out earlier than it should’ve to capitalize on season 2 hype, but that’s just speculation on our part.

Also while the slideshow is bad it doesn't need an original story. Most anime games are literally just you playing through the main cannon story and there is nothing wrong with that.
