This is a family-oriented theme park; they’re not vying for the “scariest” or “highest/biggest terrifying drop you can find. It’s “Dollywood.” Enjoy the “theme” part and the things that make it unique. Enjoy being in the Smokey mountains. You don’t need the constant “rush.” If you do, seek it out and find the scariest and good luck.
I’ve been on this ride so many times, this is literally the most boring part of the coaster! the scariest part is where you go straight up and almost upside-down as it looks like debris is falling towards you. they also stop you right in front of a fire.
It's designed to look old lol, it's supposed to look like an abandoned mystery mine. If you were to see it in person it wouldn't look as old, just very well-themed. This coaster is very well-maintained!
The beginning when it pulls you up from a 90° degree angle feels beyond crazy compared to other roller coasters, your body literally feels like it's going to fall out of the seat as it lifts you up! I would go on it again!
I iron shark at pleaseure peer is worse it’s completely straight up and down and it’s takes you higher and then right after you go straight down It’s so fun tho but it feels like your gunna fall out
Its in dollywood, and i think the tamest coaster there is dragonflier. Mystery mine has a hand loop (3 seconds of hang time) and a corkscrew loop, plus a 60 foot vertical drop. Though it may not be the scariest ride there, it still gives you that heart dropping moment on the second drop.
Yeah what do you think ofc magic mountain has scarier rides then Dollywood. It’s literally nicknamed “the thrill capital of the world” and has the most rollercoasters in the world with 20. What do you expect?
@@ellzerz7586it’s at Dollywood in Tennessee. It’s called mystery mine. It’s a fun ride! It has two lift hills straight up. Goes upside down too. It seats 8 people, 4 in both rows. I’d recommend it to anyone. The ride does hurt your chest and stomach a bit from going straight up like that but other than that it’s pretty darn smooth.
This is one of my favorite rollercoasters at Dollywood tbh. I rode it with my aunt and my cousin and they said “ THAT WAS SO CRAZY AND INTENSE” but I loved it, it’s fun and I would definitely ride it again🫶 (I did hit my head and ear on the shoulder restraint) but my favorite part is probably when it twits and then goes upside down for a few seconds
If anyone says this ride is tame or a family ride they are very wrong. If anyone doesn’t know this ride has a second part with a 95° drop that goes into a barrel roll and then a dive loop
It’s a pretty intermediate coaster, few inversions and the drop is very short. It doesn’t really compare to rides like nemesis, smiler and oblivion at Alton towers
The mystery mine before it was remodeled had a screen where the roof was made to look like it was caving in on you. Still one of my favorites at dollywood
As someone who can easily become nervous on roller coasters, That’s definitely not a vertical drop. It’s a very steep drop, but it’s definitely not vertical. This doesn’t seem too intense.
I was like “This looks familiar..” Then it said Mystery mind at Dollywood I was like “Yep I definitely remember!” Cause I remember going up like that! It was fun!
For all of you saying that this ride isn’t scary. I’ve actually rode this coaster myself and that part that was shown was the boring part of it. Some parts of it are pitch black with bat noises and other eerie noises. There is also one part where you go upside down.
I just went and watched the full video of this ride and if this ride scares you, don’t ride any coasters at Six Flags New England cuz Wicked Cyclone is scarier than this 😂
I'm normally scared of roller coasters, but WiCy was FUN. Getting absolutely LAUNCHED out of my seat on every element was loads of fun. It actually made me start liking coasters, and I'm somewhat of a thoosie now.
this ride is great, fun, and not scary but it is pretty painful. my two cousins and i all had extreme headaches after our first ride through because our heads kept getting slammed between the head protection thing they have since it isn't just a headrest. there's also protection on the sides of your head
Y’all this ride is at Dollywood and it’s called the mystery mine if anyone wants to look it up. It’s actually the second scariest ride there. This first part is like a kids coaster but after that you go straight up again but a lot higher than what is in this video and then there is a real vertical drop. The end of the coaster has a loop but you go upside down and ride upside down for a few seconds.
@@OnTheRailwayOfficial Agreed. I Coasters don't have to be tall to be intense (Maverick), but if it has "Mine" in the name it is probably a family coaster.
