I left that theory on someone else's video how detective Don Carter could in fact be James Saint Patrick's long lost brother or half-brother. I agree with most of what you said. But, I have to respectfully disagree with James not having any loyalty and just simply, pushing his way to the top so that he could be number one. He proved his loyalty time and time again with Tommy and with Julio how he got Julio out of the gang so that they wouldn't kill him. And yes I know some of you saybut he lied to Tommy multiple times. True but he did it for Tommy's own good, because he saw Tommy as so much more than just a drug dealer. Ghost was never his concern with, or had goals being number one in the drug game, that was Kanan and Tommy's dream. James only wanted to get out of the drug game and live a successful lifestyle legit. So when he took out Breeze and set up Kanan he did it because they would have never let him go, to be the man he wanted and needed to be. They were happy keeping him on the corners running the streets for them. In fact James said it in the first episode of season 1, if Kanan was out we would still be working the corners. He had bigger and higher aspirations for himself and his family. That's not selfish or disloyal, it's smart and quote from James "I don't know any old wrinkled drug dealers, they are either in prison or dead".
Mecca worked for Lobos and was the snitch Lobos was looking for in OG Power. Ghost was Lobos only distributor in the area at the time based on OG Power.
It would be an interesting perspective, father teaches both sons but they both choose opposite sides to life based of circumstances and their own desire/plans for revenge.

Yes, all these characters know one another very well. They all grew up together dealt with drugs.. meaning sold drugs, they were taught by Kane! But Ghost was smart enough not to get caught up! He also tried to get Kane to go a different route with selling drugs for the neighborhood and move up the ladder without being noticed how they were moving up the ladder, and Kane didn't want to go that route. So Ghost set him up to get caught. He felt bad but he did what he thought was the right thing to do. He also made sure that Kane wanted for nothing while he was in jail. Yes Ghost could of did it different but it would only work if Kane was gone, for some time.

He also is quoted as saying “your boy did it” referring to the club. That to me sounds like his father would be proud of him and they probably had a decent relationship
That’s the only logical sense to be honest because why would he all of a sudden just pop up outta know where lol. I think he tells Tariq that ghost is alive to throw him off his game until ghost finally reveals himself to Tariq
I read somewhere that Tariq just might be in a coma, and he wakes up after 4 years 😂 Seriously I think this is the end of Tariq’s saga & then resume “Power” once we all find out Ghost was the puppet master behind the scenes and had Tariq unknowingly knockout all of his ex coworkers (king pins, distributors etc.) once Ghost comes back to the political world, his old life wouldn’t come to surface.
STARZ is over-playing Tariq’s character. He is no where near Ghost 👻 Ghost was super smooth, in and out before anyone knew he was there. We were not privy to the work of Ghost 👻 only after someone figured out it was him. Tariq needs to stay in a child’s place, at school and not killing his teachers 🤭
The writing for this show sux. So bad mecca knew ghost but we never found out how so many loose ends in this show that never get solve effie been on 5 seasons and we still know nothing glad this show got cancelled
