Really sad to hear about Don Orsillo's unfair removal by the Red Sox. He helped make the game fun. I had this saved and thought I'd share with those of you who wanted to hear him try to keep it together.
Lenny is the guy who gets Denis going. How perfect is it that they start the Mel Gibson thing and then Youklis pulls off two nice plays? This is pure gold. And hey, we could all do well living by Lenny's rule: you treat me good, I'll treat you better. Excellent press box moment.
This has got to be the best of the best of Don and Jerry. I was watching this game live that night and I thought I was going to die laughing. Jerry was laughing so hard his eyes were just slits in his head and he literally could not speak. I remember thinking, man oh man they're gonna get letters about this. T'was a beauteous thing. I shared it a lot, then it disappeared from the 'net for awhile, so thanks for rescuing this amazing clip.
Between this and the "PIZZA" moment which was amazingly on the news recently....I really hope this gets around to more people because it always puts a smile on my face.

that is something that all of us are wondering. NESN never did fully explain themselves; evidently it's because they wanted to "re-energize" the game... like it wasn't already energized with his laughter and what not.
Comedy gold. Whenever i want to make my sister laugh i do a Mel Gibson phone call to his girlfriend that she leaked- “ i hope you get **** by a pack …” . I saw MG sitting in the crowd at the Will Smith Oscars and he had the look of its not me this time😊😅😂
