No Don Letts? Then no Topper Headon 1979 introducing reggae style drumming in The Clash. No Topper then no Stewart Copeland 1979 solidifying reggae style drumming for The Police. No Police? Then no whole generations of drummers influenced. Don Letts is the man!
About 2 years ago, I saw a Don Letts film at an exhibition at the Paris National Immigration Museum, called something like Paris and London: Musical migrations - Rock and anti-racism. He had a film shown there on one of the various TVs with headphones, about the London Punk Reggae cross-over. It was about 15-20 mins long. Does anyone know what it's called and where to find it?
