A great Rum. Been lucky enough to have enjoyed it for many years. The makers have really branched out lately by using some different casks (Sherry etc). The artwork on the bottle and cannister is extremely beautiful too.
Guys, great review. I’ve had a bottle of this in my cabinet for a while now and haven’t really been drinking it. I got a serious cotton candy/bubblegum vibe from it and I wasn’t sure how I felt about it so I kind of just put it down. I hadn’t really thought to try it again unti now. Thanks to your review I’m gonna give it another go.

I definitely picked up on the creamsicle notes you guys were talking about (once you put the idea out there, it’s hard not to notice it). I got a friend dropping by for gaming and rum tomorrow so I think we’ll reach for the Don Papa this time.

Tanduay is from Phils. also and they are also produce in Negros where Don Papa is also produce.Don Papa is quite expensive coz it is not produce typically as mass market. Don Papa is for high end segment market.🙂
@@anyaforger8409 OK. I live in the Philippines and 'Fundador Ultra Smooth' is widely available here. Have you seen it on sale elsewhere? Just looked up 'cut brandy'. That's interesting. Looking at the bottle I see now that it says 'spirit drink', not 'brandy', which I'd never noticed before. Have you tried it?
