Whoa! That Toad was having an outer body experience/maybe soul was crossing over when Mario brought his consciousness back to his body in the pit of trials I never thought about his words till just now
I havne't played a story-based game in YEARS but I used to love Paper Mario on GameCube. Your series is really helping me remember how to play these kind of puzzle/fight games!

Im so confused, im at the shop where u are suppose to buy the dried mushroom and dial but when i input the code the dialog doesn’t activate and the door is still locked
I went into the pit of 100 trials at this point too! I really wanted the extra storage though so I spent waaaaay too long chipping my way down to level 50 lol, it was an absolute godsend that you can replay stages when you die
The information never changes at least not for the older version so if you already know then you go the west side shop whenever you access to it give the shop owner the info as early of end of chapter 1
Everything seems so easy now, maybe I was too young when I first played but I remember getting stuck a lot and some impossible battles. I'm actually not sure if I ever beat the final boss on gc
Thanks for posting about the pit of 100 trials and how to get the fire hammer I think I’m going to wait until I have a lot of health to do it because I’ve never gotten to the 100th floor and beating the secret final boss on the GameCube and I was way under leveled for it I think I was a kid back then and I beat the final boss at level 11 with 70 hp and 50 fp now I’m 31 and more experienced with the game’s mechanics so im going to come here a lot later in the game to complete it but I’m probably going to go down there to get the fire hammer go back up level up my team with ultra rank and get more items and a lot more hp fp and bp

Ugh, they should make return points every 25 floors on the Pit of 100 Trials, I was able to easily make it to floor 50 for the Strange Sack at this point in the game, following this guide to this point (as in I had pretty standard badges, nothing fancy)…I didn’t use a single item neither….im sure the next 50 floors are tougher but the first 50 should be skipable later after doing them once….Nintendo screwed up there…
That Girl You mentioned Should do at least one voice over for princess Peaches, as a token of gratitude that You are doing this walk trough for Her. She does not need to appear in person, Her image could be saved for later.
