Groovy fright flick from childhood days. This sounds like a modern cover version of Mr. Goldenberg's evocative 1973 score.

Me too. It's such an impressive (and scary) score.

I keep coming back to your piece. Such a great job. I love how close the instruments sound. A lot of orchestral libraries are in too large of spaces to get this old TV sound. So awesome! I’m not familiar with the VSL library. Are you using mostly close mics to achieve this?

Can I ask which orchestral suite was used to cover it? It sounds great! I’m currently looking at the Bernard Herrmann Composer’s Toolkit for stuff like this and am wondering if there is something better for this 1970s vibe. Like the old Columbo scores, or even Hart to Hart. I’m just getting started so it’s a bit overwhelming to know which library for this kind of sound.

I made this music using sounds from the "Vienna Symphonic Library". The samples are great and the musical orchestral result is very realistic.

COSMORICO Thank you very much for the information. What synth did you use in this? Sounds very cool! Also, what VSL package would you recommend for making stuff like this particular piece. They seem to have so many products. Thanks!

COSMORICO Also, I made a thread asking about music libraries for making this kind of music on a pretty cool forum for composers using virtual instruments, and used your track as an example. If you ever find yourself with extra time on your hands, please check it out as you are an inspiration. vi-control.net/community/threads/orchestral-libraries-for-1970s-tv-soundtracks.97787/
