"The things we can't see is closer to reality than the things we can see." This idea was also expressed by Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 4:18: "So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."
He is a great teacher. He is my greatest mentor. May he live a long, long life. He is greatly needed on Earth. Thank you so much for making these videos! They are gold.
Thank you Hashem for Rabbi Manis' Teachings! Amongst many Torah teachers, i think Rabbi Manis Friedman's teachings has caused the world (Jews and non-Jews) to see Hashem to be seen the way He wants to be seen. So thank you 😊
Without knowing this rabbi nor any video about Judaism, about 2-3 years ago I though every single thing that this rabbi is saying and everything led me to Judaism. Now I am converting. Sometimes you need to wrestle with your thoughts which elevates you from a level to another; like from Jakob to Israel.
I am blessed to be part of this beautiful family. The chosen family by HaShem Baruch Hu. I thank you Rabbi for making me understand the hidden knowledge and wisdom of my creation.
Ok I got it on my second viewing. I had to pause it a lot, but I understand his approach now. I still have some nuanced disagreement , but this will help me sort things out. Excellent, many thanks Rabbi!
J.E.H You’re replying a year later? Kinda behind the times here Bud. I’d have to review the video just to get a sense of what your gripe is. I’m not going to bother though. My impression is you’ve got an axe to grind, and on a smear campaign, and you’re kind of a kooky Pentecostal. Seems you’ve got to lay off the Fruit Loops, find your gourd and get back in it.
Truth never died!!! Truth is like a sun rise in the morning bright and bright up to noon and goes down in the after noon, and rise again the next morning .......truth never died it has been told from generation to generation and generation.......
Really inteligent reflections rabino friedman it iget astonished listennig to you I have some questions that might not agree whith all you questions but it is great I have found yuor intervieus
My dream dream me. I did not dream a dream. My dream dream me. I came from The Living Spirit and l return to him. I know this deep in my heart... Bless you All ❤️🇩🇰
Rabino friedman about religion few years ago I became to the idea that there were no reazon to believe in anything but I still have faith and I do not know why, human being does not know the beginnig of the universe and were it is has finished yet it is a mistery but there must be a energy behind all this. I like your videos very much you are so brilliant that to me this is something really significant to have found thank you very much hello from mexico
God reveals his nature to us by giving us intelligence to know who he is not. People believed in the moon, thunder and planets as god. Then God gives us ability to visit the moon and planets to discover he is neither of those. This is the marvel and greatness of the Creator. There is no ending to his existence. Very good teaching Rabi...from.Kenya
1s path allows for dynamic variance. I’ve been trying to blend the gap between the misconception of difference been subject and object. Where 1 roots both.
@Charles Pieters O! These verses that I quoted is applying for the faith in God not in human charlatans, I watch many things like this video on RU-vid just for enrich my ideas about faith and God but I never put my trust in EVERY teachings or not support with non money nobody!
The thing that blows my mind is how magnificent the Creator is and His creation when I get a glimpse away from silly obligations. But yet humans do all kinds of stupid thing to oppress each other and make life more difficult than it needs to me. It is sad to me.
19:26 A reasonable hang up on wanting to see things, is seeing provides us with sensory data that we can use to make repeatable informed decisions. Imagination of the unseen allows us to think anything, and anything is inconsistent and impossible to communicate. eg I feel warm versus I feel 150 degrees C etc. Seeing things in this context is verifiable sensory data. That includes feeling a wall in front of you, but not seeing it. Intelligence includes abstract thinking, and also object and experiential thinking. That's nothing wrong with using the word faith, when that's what you mean.
The recognition of things we cannot know=faith…I wish that the interviewer's voice was more clear-he needed a better microphone. I guess "faith" is like infinity-a friend of mine said " it doesn't matter because it exists whether you believe in it or not!"
I've been searching for God my whole life many studies. I need strength to continue my search no Rock left Unturned. Unfortunately in my area have yet to meet a single rabbi but my journey continues
Is that a picture behind you or are them doors open... Looks beautiful! What a stunning view! I think to know god and to be convicted in the spirit... God has to place that on you, in your obedience to him!
Asking for the great questions, without religion getting involved (in your case, until something better comes along, Rabbinic/Judaism "hardcore" related thinking), it is picking up the pearls hidden into a teaching (Judaism) that we as Christians should acknowledge, without getting into the "deep" of it. :) (my two cents for the good).
