actually it's quite common for choirs to hold their concerts in churches, because of the acoustic - churches have amazing acoustic, so it's perfect for singers.

While it’s super entertaining that they sang this in a church, as a choir nerd myself I feel compelled to say that it’s very common for choir concerts/performances to take place in churches, as they are equipped with seating, sound systems, and good acoustics - and cheap to rent. If this was a Sunday morning service that would certainly make this song choice more interesting! Lol.
