I played a ton of Wii Sports when I was in college so I'm super excited for the Switch successor to finally be out. Watch me battle it out in Bowling, Tennis, Badminton, Chambara, Soccer, and Volleyball while trying not to yell at my teammates, who may or may not be 9.

Maybe NL is having problems with his joycon or joycon drift, I know that some of my older joycons will have really bad motion controls on ring fit adventure, but some of my new joycons work perfectly, something to consider perhaps

@@Redzeths I Thought the same thing, watching him and seeing all the scoring opportunities he would have had if he just played his position instead of running back and forth on the same 30 meters of pitch the entire time. He definitely would have had at least three 1 on 1 scoring chances with him and the goalie. Can't wait to see the over the top celebration when he does finally score (sometime in 2023). "Let's Goooooooooo!" will be the first thing out of his mouth lol.

The spin is too unreliable, just aim straight forward to the right of the center pin and try and get as little spin as possible.

I think it's the lack of sensor bar compared to the old wiimotes causing these problems. In bowling, a slight difference in motion signals a different action, which is probably why the issue is most pronounced in bowling.

@@nicolescats2 Sensor bar had zero effects on bowling in wiisports. The sensor bar was used exclusively for pointing, and was pretty imprecise (sensor bar is a misnomer, it's literally just two IR lights that the wiimote could see). The wii motionplus gyros were just really good

@@ArkhBaegor the original wii bowling didn’t use motion plus though right? motion plus only came out with sports resort. i imagine the original wii bowling just automated some things to an extent which makes it seem like it’s more responsive

nah sometimes you can hit super nasty pog shots to the left or right or swing late and hit it over the defenders head

If you know what you're doing it's pretty easy to score by hitting off the block. On the low levels that kind of blocking works, but it's a huge detriment against better players. The real strategy is to block on line side tight to the edge and jump late, because everybody tries to hit late. You also need to make it clear to the receiver which side you're going to block so they can cover the other side. But the reason you hold tight line is because if they get a good bump and good set the spike will be strong enough to hit through the block, if you're tight on the line it deflects back towards the court.

Is there a reason why NL seems to be ignoring Rogue Legacy 2 (which got released out of Early Access a couple of days ago)? I mean it's his kind of game (roguelike) and I think I watched him play through the first one what seems like thousands of years ago. I am pretty sure he loved it too then. The reason I am asking is I am playing it right now and it's a fun game (better than the first one in every aspect), but not as fun for me personally without also watching NL playing it. For some reason I like my roguelikes when NL also plays them, otherwise I get discouraged quickly. lol
