Hello! My results just came in and I got 8.5 overall. Speaking 9, reading 9, listening 8.5 and writing 7. Just wanted to thank your channel for the help it provided me. I didn't practice at all honestly. But the day of the exam, maybe 3 hours before reporting time, I came across your channel and watched your speaking test advice vids at 2x speed. They helped me boost my confidence and because of that I was so relaxed during the speaking test! I tend to overthink a lot and I tanked by writing exam because of that but listening to your advice gave me confidence. I didn't sit rigidly during my test. I gesticulated wildly, spoke my mind and even stuttered trying to find content lol but at the end of the day I spoke to the examiner as if I would a friend and gave my opinions clearly and comprehensively. Thank you for instilling that bit of confidence in me!

Hi, firstly I wanted to congrat you with ur amazing score you have done very well. Oh, can I ask you questions? How did you improved ur reading? Can you explain clearly clearly?
@@nooooooonee if I'm being wholly honest, I might not be the best person to give advice on the reading segment. I'm an avid reader who has been reading for the better part of a decade. So, although English isn't my native language I'm handy at it to get by ig? The thing I did (keep in mind I am a big procrastinator as well so i practiced minimally) is practice at least 5-10 questions for each question type. Try to make sure you know what the question types are and tbh that's most of the work. After that try to find your strengths and weakness, see what questions stump you and so on. That's mostly it. Um, beyond that, if you have less time, I'm pretty sure you can search videos on RU-vid for question pattern and types. Watch it at 2x speed and try to gauge which questions you get wrong the most and go from there. Hope that helps and best of luck on your exams!!! 🩷

Hello Chris, just today got my results and it was 6.5 overall and it was all from your videos. Which helped me to get those bands. Also writing the comment, as when I used to watch the videos when preparing there were these type of comments and they give motivation, this is what I feel And just trust this guy, and please read and practices the 100 eassys from other video . ❤❤

Ok, so just got my result. I followed this channel which gave me immense confidence to take the exam. Last time i got 6.5 in writing and this time i have got 7 by following this channel for just few days. The writing question was about positive and neagtive trend so i got a little condused but still managed to put down my ideas clearly than before.

Really needed this, Chris. Took three times, all of which resulted to a massive blowout. 1-2 components with only .5 difference, ace 2 components but with less scores on the other 2. The thing is, I got better scores on the first 2 takes, but the third one was the lowest. This video somehow enlightened me.

In China, whether students are at international schools or training centres (very very few do IELTS totally independently) it is not usually the students themselves who have autonomy over when they take their test. Obviously this is wrong but it's definitely a good reason why they don't know why they are taking the test. The 'school' or whatever it is has certain set dates where they enter students for the test en bloc. For the record, I tell the students to ignore the school's advice and tell them to take control of their own schedule and timeline.
100 % true information for failures subjects like me, I took your VIP course two times and didn’t able to manage the time to master the skills for each part. We need dedication and carefully listent to the instructions you are giving for each part. I did only one part but did not able to practice so there was no impact on my overall band. Now, I am preparing each skill gradually and, it is a kind of step -by -step way. For instance, we cannot jump to the next section untill we master the previous one. More important, don’t go ahead untill unless we check our mistakes and fix it.
