i have the same car with 1.6 mpi bse engine!it is very good but better change the suspension (cayaba or bilstein) and put some 17 inch tires aswell for better hadling!and then change the catalytic converter with some sport cat for a litle more power at the lows.
I own an Audi A3 3.2 Quattro, I absolutly love it. I actually replaced that card holder with a cup holder cause of that armrest problem. But that button panel is on top of the radio so it isn't in the way while changing gears. It's a 2005 with the smaller radio.
@@a7u412 seeing as the person you replied to didnt get back to you yet... I just got the 1.6tdi sportback (2010) and its great! tbf it had only one older female owner and 185,000km with a great service history. things i would change are: adding LED lights interior and exterior then maybe adding a 3rd party integrated touch screen. Car handles crosswinds very well, feels very spacious on the inside. almost feels like a mini estate (for reference Im 187 cm - roughly 6'1"). the car is well insulated, not much road or engine noise. steering is not very responsive unfortunately though this isnt reallt an issue for me. the only real issues ive had are from wear and tear and driver error (boot struts need replacing, 1 kerbed alloy and a some minor dings). the car isnt very fast or responsive but as a first car its a step above the usual suspects in build quality, the interior feels amazing and the seats are the most comfortable stock seats ive been in for a car of this price range. all things said, i paid €4,000 for it and couldnt be happier. @@sleazyduckxoxox thank you! I’m going with a 1.4 TFSI 2009 so in terms of power it’ll be 125 HP so stronger. I was planning on doing exactly the same changes as yours. It’ll be 171k KM for €6000. I’m going to see it Tuesday and if everything is well, I’ll buy it. I’ll let you know! :)
@@a7u412 that'd be a really nice buy! I managed to get mine from €4750 to 4000 by paying in cash so that might help bring the price down a little for you but 6k isn't a bad price at all. Hopefully all works out and you're on the road overtaking me with it soon! 🤣
@@sleazyduckxoxox hey. Just bought mine! It’s a 1.4 TFSI 2009 model and the cool thing is the owner had it stage 1 tuned. It’s amazing, the acceleration is incredible and it’s spacious like you said! I guess we can all ourselves Audibros now.
Just bought a audi a3 1,6 e-power myself, love the review and it was what got me to buy it, so ;) Mine however dosent come with all this optional things. But whatever. And its a sportback -09. Last but not least, i'll be the first one ever to change the airfilter since it left the factory =) Kinda miss the "check your oil" warning light though. I wonder what contrys that got that one, Sweden wasnt one of them
Now I wish I would have bought an a3 quattro 2.0 tdi from 2006. Instead of my ford fiesta from 2005 1.4 14v however I'm pretty satisfied with the fuel consumption with the ford compared to german equivalents
