Don't buy a DJI Mavic Pro Drone unless you happen to crash your Phantom 3 into a very tall pine tree in the forest. Then I suggest you might have to. Mine is on order.
So here's the deal....I flew my Phantom 3 professional around the Mountains getting some better than average video until the last part of the video where it shows the drone crashing into or landing on a very tall tree. I might add that there seemed to be a fault of some kind in the signal and it would not respond to my commands. Anyway, stuck up a 60 ft tree, I had to leave it after trying practically everything I could to dislodge it including seeking help from a group of tourists (big mistake). When I returned the following day to rescue it I found the drone was gone. So now I am looking forward to getting my new Mavic Pro.
By the way....I did get the SD card back in the mail about a week later thanks to the address I had written on the battery and the drone. Thank you but can I have the drone back too?
Also a post note...the SD card files were corrupted but I found this post on Drone Pilots Forum by Luis J that allowed me to open and heal the files. Thank you Luis.
