The most professional//intelligent automotive channel on RU-vid. Have a nice day all. CHEERS from AUSTRALIA (HA - soon to be the owner of the last of the type VANTAGE V12 S).
Very informative video i feel sorry for the poor owner getting messed about and although now its a hefty bill to fix at least he will be safe in the knowledge his car is perfect. I also have to say my dream Aston is a black classic vanquish s . Love the information from this channel.
Great advice all round, thank you. I am in the market for a V8 Vantage and would appreciate some advice on what to look for other than the usual clutch replacement, corrosion round door handles and door bottoms and the potential for leaking timing chain housing.
If you are a private seller, getting a pre purchase inspection prior to advertising might be a good selling point. Also with the initial cat problem what would you have recommended? Full engine strip and inspection?
Great and very informative videos. Considering getting a V8 Vantage S from 2011 with 70.000 miles. All services done at AM garages in Germany and latest in Denmark where the car is now situated like I am. Any kind of check list you can advise at first look before going on to a prepurchase inspection?
Hi mate, great video again. When I was looking for my Aston in Australia. All the UK imports had severe corrosion under body. I ended up with an Aussie delivered for a little more. Is UK salting roads? or is it acid rain? Do you see this is issue over there? Aussie cars dont seem to suffer it cheers again.
Thank you for this video a million times !! You just saved my bank account on a particular Vanquish S I was looking at....ZERO invoices since day One in 2005. They were lost in moving to another house....Yes, of course....And none of the 3 Aston Martin dealers that supposedly did work on this car answered my request to send me what they have on file regarding the maintenance they did on the car in the past. I am in America...Is it the same with AM dealers in UK ?? I am considering publishing here the VIN of the car in question....What do you folks suggest?
Hi, informative and interesting , just need to up tempo the presentation. Should I buy a DB9 as an investment? You have the knowledge, just increase your confidence in presentation and your channel will fly.
I've tried to sign up for the forum and I never get the activation email. I've also tried emailing to the contact email address on our website with no response. I'd really like to get to know this platform and ask questions before buying over here in the USA, but seem to be locked out at the moment.
so is it broad ineptitude, or what? If i could find a great shop in the USA i would use them. I have suffered consistent failure to properly service my Aston. In fact it is why the car was traded by the first owner. Simple repairs done wrong. We don't have a huge problem just having to redo all work from the dealer.
From my perspective it’s like any exotic car ownership - if you cannot afford to maintain it and repair it - then simply put do not buy it and CAVEAT EMPTOR..! When you spend £50,000+ on a car like these do not expect them to be reliable and so many ‘lemons’ in the market.
10:37 "rodents in the ECU's" I had to watch that 3 times. What's next? Elvis in the boot? Our cousins in America are so quick to criticise our cars. Evidence is mounting that they know nothing about engineering.
