Bro. Never update any apple device. I am using MacBook m2 air from 8 month (purchased in diwali sale) but I never updated , it works fine bro. No issues. Don't update . Your device will be ok always

Bukwas hy yar recently buy kia tha battery health the worse battery I've experienced in my entire life boht hi bekar battery life on top of that bhair khi use kro gy brightness drop literally in 15/20 mins 4 hours of continue use and phone dead from 100 to 0 on my device bh was 90 meny usko deky 13 pro max le liya battery performance is just so good whole day plus 6 hour of usage still left with 10/20 percentage so overall bhai mey to yhi bolo ga 13 pro max hi lelo otherwise all up to you and ya mey rehta bhi malaysia mey ho india se kam hi garmi hy

It’s pretty simple. If you’re planning for a new iPhone then spend some money and go for the latest model, no need to buy 2-3 yrs old model. If you already have 13 pro/max then you can still continue to use for another couple of years.
