I generally don’t prefer lens protectors on camera. I make sure that I take care of my devices and if at all accidents occur, I accept it but I don’t like lens protector (my opinion and one may differ). Good short video sir.
I have a 14 pro max and I did put lens protector just for extra protection even though I do have apple care but still have bought it with hard earned money so extra protection is not bad

Don’t use lens protectors, all the dust gets into it over time and when you want to change the protector , it leaves all the glue residue on your camera sides which will not come off easily

I thought the same, but when I got 15 pro max, I got a combo in which I got this lens protector and guess what ? When we went to the beach it fell on a coral and one of the back lens protector cracked pretty sure if I didn’t have the protector actual lens probably would’ve scratched if not broken.

The one big issue is that when you use lens protector its film or glass is not that scratch resistant so you can easily see some scratches on it that makes your camera quality frequently poor
If you are concern getting scratches on lens then you must use. But again if you use good quality or bad quality protector the image quality will get affect. I am using s23 ultra with spigen lens protector, getting quality affected and also getting scratches on protector.
I broke my 12 pro max one camera lens, In which got 3k-4k lesserr than normal resale value and 2k separate for repairing it that too local glass, Now after buying ang new iphone the first thing i do is to install lens protector....😅

Using a cheap protector is ruins the quality iphone makers uses high quality glass and we ruined it by using this cheap glass so don’t use it it affects the quality

Bro i use iPhone 14 Plus and i use 9h Lens protector on camera. Agar lens toota toh iPhone 14 Plus ka camera kaa kharcha zyada aayega. Apple khud bola hain iPhone pe jo camera hain uss par lens protector use karna zaroori hain agar iPhone galti se haath se fisal kar gira yaah phir phone pocket se gir gaya by chance tabh zyada paisa deke lens change karwana padega. Main khud use kar raha hoon lens protector aur photo quality original hi rahega apka camera lens tootne se bachayega girne se. Thanks bro for the useful information ❤.
