I doubt this extra content will get to a co-op stalker mode (if there is any, we haven't got any info about this) because they said all the skins would only affect on the MP, so no skins on freemode/campaign/co-op (if there is any)... So yeah just PVP and maybe the thypical gamemodes that wont fit becausr stalker is not about PVP and respawning endlessly

I just noticed it for the first time a few months ago, I have 🏴☠️ version of SoC and clicked multiplayer and it worked! Played some free for all in Agroprom institute with a bunch of Russians/Ukrainians 🤣 it honestly was a lot of fun
I thought the gameplay reveal trailer was actually a concept trailer, theres barely any gameplay it was just prerendered stuff, very cool but its not the game unless they have completely revolutionized gaming. The stalker franchise holds a dear place in my heart so ill buy stalker 2, but with other titles that came out completely shit i wouldnt preorder or go too crazy

We got one ' 'gameplay' ' teaser that contain absolutly no gameplay, then at E3 we got a ' 'gameplay' ' trailer that contain what was obviously fake gameplay footage, and of course, the everlasting presence of pre-order bonus. Are they so afraid to show what the game look like in action, hence why they take so long to show anything worthwhile? Just some shiny looking fake footage that doesn't reflect the actual game, just enough for the average mindless consumer to drool over and make them want to throw their money at them. I would love to be proven wrong on that, but i wouldn't hold my breath for sure. I may be a big S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fan, but i'm no idiot.
Something about the game seems off to me after watching the trailer, the enemies looked absolutely brain dead, he just runs in and guns them down, if it was the other stalkers he would’ve died instantly playing so recklessly, they better not water the game down to be casual trash
I really hope it’s watered down. I hope it’s easy. Hopefully the enemy ai isn’t smart so I can just run through the game. Hopefully it has plenty of micro transactions and loot boxes to. Hopefully it’s runs at 420p at 7 frames per second.

At first i thought it is a joke because now days there is a tendency making multiplayer and season pass into every single game. Well i checked it.... The extra campfire music and stories being locked behind preorder, as stated on the Steam store, is downright predatory. Here's why: Pretty much all the hardcore fans of this series have spent time just sitting at campfires, listening the music played by stalkers and talking to them, learning more lore about the zone in the process. By locking some of this experience behind a fucking preorder paywall, GSC is pressurising all the devoted fans this series has into purchasing a preorder without even seeing a single second of real gameplay. It is extremely suspicious.
The only way multiplayer would be appealing to me, IF done right, is Tarkov style raids, with human & non-human enemies thrown in to the mix. Standard gamemodes? Nope, not interested

most of the real curators who reviewed it on Steam (real being real people and not just bots) didn't seem to have high hopes for it, considering the NFT's, microtransactions, postponing of the game, and zero gameplay whatsoever.

Half the original team left the company years ago to make Metro. I assume the other half quit GSC when the company shut down for like 8 years. We will never get that magic slav lightning in a bottle again.
Dumbest shit about this is "Special Extra Quest" and "Season Pass". Everything else they're selling "separately" from the main game is fine. But I wouldn't preorder at all. But definitely wouldn't preorder the expansion pass version before knowing what the full game is actually going to be like. If it's not faithful to the genre, and not up to quality standards then it's not worth it. Sure the game looks like it has good graphics but doesn't mean the gameplay will be interesting or even polished considering the state of so many releases in recent history. Sure they delayed Halo for quality control but who's to say Stalker will get the same treatment. Secondly the Season pass and costume skins is an obvious sign there's going to be multiplayer. Personally I think Co-op is better for Stalker but whatever if the multiplayer has a survival feel that'll be interesting. But since we know there's going to be a multiplayer that means that there should absolutely be a Beta or Network test like BF 2042 or Elden Ring. As we saw with both of those Betas one game needed a severe delay and the other looks like it's ready for release. If we're not allowed to give feedback on the gameplay before it's release I just don't trust them to deliver at all lol. Also too many defenders with the like to dislike ratio. Can't just expect any company to just deliver a quality product at release anymore. Rockstar, CDPR, DICE, From Soft, etc all fucked up some point in their lifetime and released broken/unfinished/low quality games before. People held them to a high pedigree at some point and they all fucked up in the past or continue to fuck up. Just saying...

I'm a die hard stalker-fan but I'm not stupid enough to pre-order games that haven't shown any sort of gameplay. Once it releases, I'll still wait for videos/streams of the game and only then make my decision of buying the game or not. Also adding different versions that cost more than the standard is such a cheap move in my opinion. Just let everyone pay the same price for the same content.

if u kwon the story behined gsc u would know that the devs of stalker games are a bit to crazy and ambitius, this mofos almost got bankrupt trying the wildest ideas and still to this day ppl is talking about the trilogy! hell, I even uses to be a metro fan util I found out stalker for the first time not so long ago, and know I can't look metro the same again xD especially the ones tha came after metro 2033...
If you have played metro u know how far they go with animations.... It's not about multiplayer....stalker is always about single player immersion... If u dont like that dont buy it... I am a huge stalker fan... I am gonna buy it even if it's a waste....
at least when tarkovs wipe is fresh mid summer, Ill be able to play stalker 2 solo if it actually launches in april for a few months or at least look at what the game looks like before i buy it. Considering the 2 month grace period before the new tarkov wipe. This game has that on the table as well as the solo gameplay which can hopefully keep some players from tarkov in june/july if stalker 2 is actually "good" lol

NEVER preorder! It IS a scam regardless of the final product. It’s all digital, you won’t run out of a physical copy if you are not on time. Preordering is literally a marketing trick to scam money out of you. Wait until the game is released, watch some reviews, look at actual gameplay and then decide on day 1 or 2 after release if it is something you want to spend money on. Are people really this dense?
