Stopped buying the Apple Silicone cases because of the wear and tear. For my 14 Pro Max I bought the Caseology Parallax and I like the looks and how it feels. Only thing I do not like is a bit of a sharp spot on the bottom left corner of the case. I think it has to do with the production proces of the case.
I’ve been shifted completely to Caudabe now because of you. Used to use the Latercase but with nearly zero protection I just can’t do it anymore. I’ll never buy an Apple case again either. Wears out in a couple of weeks.
That's what's up and glad I could put you on to them. Yeah I've never used the Apple case long term but I've always heard they wear out pretty quickly.
Man I liked the Apple Silicone case, but the price was high but also that it took every single piece of lint out of my pocket lol. Would've been worth it for 25-30 dollars, maybe.
13 Pro owner here Ordered 2 Caudabe Sheaths (1 black and 1 mesa blue) and a ESR Hybrid case - frosted back and solid black edges so no yellowing and less slippy than clear edges I still use and enjoy Apple silicone cases tho
I used to have the sheath on but I shifted to the synthesis simply because the magsafe ring got visible on the sheath overtime coz of the strong magnet and dust sticking to it ,but either way both are great cases and has great grips.
I have the gold 13 pro my friend. I bought the paralax however you spell it in blue and burgundy. I still have them. They’re one of my favorite cases. I bought them after you made your video recommending them
Great review here!! I have the Caudabe Sheath and Caseology cases shown in the video. Although they are excellent cases I still prefer my Apple silicone case. The only reason being is the Apple case has a better grip and softness to it to me. The Caudabe and Caseology began to hurt my hand after a few days and were more slippery in comparison to my Apple Silicone case.
@@SONYWHXM This is very true but it also doesn’t slide out of my pocket when I sit or stand. I often swap the cases around but if I had to choose one, it would be Apple silicone.
Great comparison Tee apples price of both there silicone and leather cases are a hard hill to climb no doubt. Another suggestion which I feel compares a lot to the apple silicone case is magbak’s case. Very similar feel to the Apple silicone case. However I have found that my magbak case doesn’t get as much dust and lint on the case as Apples case so I actually prefer my magbak to the Apple silicone case. But for price it’s probably around the same price as Apple’s silicone case. But with magbak you get a wallet that holds more cards works as a stand and they give extra magnets you can use in your car as a car phone holder. It works really well with the magnetic car holder. Just my thoughts I will definitely check out these other alternatives 🙏🏻
If you are going to spend anything more than 30 dollars for a case get the ones from apple . Others are not worth the money Atleast if you get an apple case you have an original case from apple the way they intended it .
I’ve been using the apple silicone cases for a number of years. I’ve tried and tried, but the cases are just not great anymore. The quality has gone downhill, the edges have started to peel and little bits have started to peel off. Not a fan anymore.
The magnets don’t matter when the back of the silicone case makes it so grippi that any MagSafe product work cole out the wallets even tho it may have weaker magnets than the Caudabe stick better because the back I’m the wallet really stick to it. The MagSafe testing is not a real life situation with MagSafe product the slide don’t pull.

The Amethyst looks alot darker on here than on there website, does it change depending on the lighting or is it a darker shade of purple cause on here it looks fire!
As an Apple stan, Tee I agree that probably the best alternative to the Apple silicone case is the Caudabe Sheath (I'm a member of the #sheathgang). I would love to see more of these "alternative buy" videos, too!
I have tried more than 25 cases . There’s no alternative to Apple silicone cases . If you like them u like them . No case can match it in terms of fit , finish and quality imho. Apple made the iPhone and it’s only logical that they made the best case for their baby .
Apple cases might be pricey but they last ! Always had them with every iPhone I’ve had my recent one lasted 2 years has wear on but like I say they last 👌🏻 Amazon had a sale on for apple case 14 pro max I paid £39 💪🏼
Do not buy apple cases because tee won’t get any affiliate links from apple or Amazon ( for apple products). Most RU-vid influencers do not recommend original cases even though deep down they know that they are the best . Especially the apple cases , you always get what u pay for cause none of these cases can match the fit , feel and finish of the apple case ( I have tried all these cases ). Deep down I don’t think they are the best at all. It’s not about affiliate sales at all. There are much better options. I wish people would stop thinking it’s all about the money because if you knew how little affiliate sales really are you might think about what you said.
Sure Man I respect your opinions. But it’s not right to just bash apple cases for the price . Mous and nomad are all equally priced if more expensive in some cases ( pun intended ) . In the 40-50 dollar price range apple does it the best . Maybe in the 10-20 dollar option you can argue about value for money . But if I’m gonna spend 40 dollars on a case I might as well get the original case . They are the best imho. The cases you mentioned here can no way match the fit and feel of the case . I really appreciate your opinions but in some cases you just have to hand it over to apple. Also none of the cases you mentioned here are completely silicone cases . They are all tpu hybrid and other materials. It’s high time we accept no one can make silicone cases like apple !
Apple cases are garbage. They were the first cases I got for my 13 and whenever i dropped it, the cases would pop out and i would see damage on the edges of the phone. Never buying apple cases again
