@@Mike-dy8sj actually the lettering on the eyelets was the plan for the first ever release. Definitely not “fake” looking. A few limited pairs have them before they stopped the idea.
You guys should do like a “Sneaker Check” in each video. Basically add in a segment about what kicks you are wearing during the filming. Watch channels do it a lot and call it a “wristwatch check” where they talk about the watch they are wearing at the time of filming and what they like about it. Thought it’d be a cool idea.
These are one of the CLEANEST sneakers to drop this year. Got my pair in hand today and they are stunning. Love the simple colourway, these just hit HARD. Fully agree with the assessment as well as the “wearability”. I love the XI but it just doesn’t hit the same as a 1 or a 3 does in the daily rotation. I find myself even wearing things like the React Elements than I do my XIs anymore.

It’s a clean sneaker...not earth shattering, but clean. I live to hear Buckets drop his opinion. It’s a “yes”, or it’s a “no” ...no middle ground. I love it!
11's are the classic from me being a kid.. I thought these were done right and look nice.. I like the OG versions but this is nice.. overall I say 8.5/10.. Space Jams and the Bred were my favorite in the 11's

@@csmith2118 I think your reasoning for passing on them is valid. The reverse flus are a solid. (I want the classic flus) if you can find these 11s for a decent price I’d get them because the details in the show really grew on me.

@@csmith2118 first and foremost, I suggest you get the shoes that you WANT and not the best price. I personally like the indigos over the reverse flus. And the they just so happen to be a lil cheaper.

I'm in between not going to where them to a wedding or something fancy but also not wearing them everyday either. If I am going on a date to a nice restaurant or a big birthday celebration I will rock them
Ok, I’ve been into sneakers for about 2 years now (I’m 14) I have been educating myself as much as I can, I listen to complex sneaker podcasts and every complex show. I think everyone from Jlp to Matt Welty are super cool people. I know about everyone form fat joe and to mayor. Unfortunately I’m in a place where I can’t afford sneaker that I think are dope, but I have a serious passion for the game!! Any advice??
Educate yourself on investing and the game of money. Buy “Rich Dad, Poor Dad”. These sneakers will never go for cheap unfortunately so you will need a way to make some money.
depending on where you live u could work the only i could think of tbh, i live in canada and im 15 and ill have to wait to next year to work bcuz my parents dont want me working at 15 so ill just wait but dont spend all ur money on sneakers dont buy sneakers to the point where u buy a pair every 3 months unless u got it like that or u want to invest into sneaker reselling but i dont rlly like this culture of buying 50 pairs just to resell to ppl who actually love the shoe 3 times the price, to me its just screwing ppl over, thats just my opinion
@@jomo148 I don’t plan to resell but I work on my family farm to make a little cash, I have a lot saved up and I’m planning on. Expanding while remaining quality over quantity I really like the Travis 6s and I’m trying to find them for a good price. The only pair I have now are the court purple and I hit on those on the sneakers app.
I can't wait to get these in my hands today, my first pair of jordan 11's everrrrr! After all those l's i then took basically every year when a new pair of 11's drops i just couldn't seems to get my hands on anyone of them at all.
OG AJ XI Concord released in 1995 for $125. Sitting on the display row at the base exchange, walked out with a size 11 and a Tupac CD. Usual business. Who knew that 25 years later that I’d be staring at a “you are in line”on a SNKRS app followed by a “sold out”. Maybe I’ll try again on Dec 12 while rocking to Tupac’s greatest hits. Where have all the good times gone (sounding like me pops).
I can’t understand the people complaining that this XI looks too plain/simple; but so are all or most of the other XI colorways (Concords, Cool Greys, Platinum Tints, etc). The design of the shoe and the placement of colors definitely make them pop, but nothing too crazy. Some of y’all trying to compare these to the 72-10’s, which in turn are basically Playoff/Bred XI’s w/o the red outsoles & with different materials. And some of y’all getting way too bent outta shape over the lettering on the eyelets, this ain’t the first time JB’s done that (Peep some ‘06 DMP’s); if the lettering was put on OG colors, that’s a different story; but here, y’all need to chill.
This is my absolute favorite air jordan! Jordan 1s have grown a special place in my lineup, but it can never replace the AJ 11s! This is an easy must cop on my opinion. I don't think you can go wrong with any colorway of the 11s...so clean! Definitely looking to get this pair since I missed on the space jams and the breds.

I really dig this shoe!! C'mon.. u can never go wrong w/ the 11's. But I feel like, if you have the 72-10's and the Space Jam's. It is a very unnecessary shoe to cop. And I LOOOOVE Jordan 11's. It's just a waste of $220. IMO

I have gotten to a point with shoe collecting where I skip ahead of these videos to see what Buckets says about a shoe. If he gives a shoe a high rating, I usually get it.
Beautiful sneaker, but I agree; it's not something I rock too often. If I didn't cop the bred 11s last year I'd totally grab these, but I don't think I need more than one 11 at a time. nah not me , i’m turning 15 and as my gift my parents are finally opening a debit card account for me since i work with my dad , i buy shoes to wear , i just bought my first ever pair of 4s and got them 2 days ago and i’ve worn em at least 3 times already, i love wearing my shoes , not to just have em there getting dusty , but i really hope i could get these on the 12th it not i’ma be sad because i really want a 11 for retail and not over 300 cuase that’s too expensive

I still to this day wonder the same thing. The Jordan 1 used to be sideline with the 2 for me... Both ugly as heck! In fact the ugliest OG's IMO but due to the recent hype, the Jordan 1 has become one of my faves... Strange.

I wore my concords a handful of times but my breds DS still. Might pull them out next month tho. I think buckets rating is fair 7.5-8 max. They clean in hand but if we’re ranking 11s these aren’t at the top
Had some on just yesterday. But you're right I rarely ever wear them. I bout therse on the last drop last year and yesterday was only my second time wearing them. Everytime I open the box and see how clean they are, I change my mind about wearing them. Lol
They gave us the first 11 instead.the jubilee is the sneaker tinker sketched that got mike to say yes to the 11.they gave us the og shoe 25 years after creation.the other shoes you love in the 11 line were fathered by the jubilee
@@TheBrob1983 You definitely read the article wrong. There were sketches that had "Jordan" written on the eyelets but Tinker did tons of sketches. This colorway wasn't from an original sketch, but just the "Jordan" written on the eyelets. They should have just retroed the the silver anniversary 11s. The silver anniversary 11s came out to celebrate the 11s ten year anniversary. 25 year anniversary is also called the silver anniversary. So instead of releasing this new and lazy Jubilee colorway they should've done the silver anniversary 11s

I still wear 11s and still my favorite. I do wear 1s, Nike shoes, and Adidas shoes more often. 11s were the first Jordan sneakers I had as a kid. The OG concords.
It sounds like buckets is saying his ratings are more on point then foamies ratings are, and so when foamie rates these a 7.5 buckets agrees this is 3 in a row. Foamie was like copycat, Buckets was like, no, bruhh, you gave these a n accurate rating “finally.” Therefore its as if Buckets is secretly yet obviously saying Foamie ratings are usually wrong and his (Buckets) are usually right??? But I think Buckets is living up to his anti hype beast name and will usually rate awesome shoes with an absurdly low rating so not to put himself in with the rest of the Crowd a.k.a. usually all of us who love awesome hyped up sneakers like a Bred 1, 3m Yeezy, Colabbed Travis Scott SB, Off White AF1 or even a Union 4. I would rate all these a 10/10 Buckets might say...? Meh these all are 6 and possibly a 7? Depends on how I feel that day!? But Nah a 10 not ever. I want to know what shoes and how many does he have or would he give a TEN/10??? Is there even 1 or Two pair in his collection or not in his collection, for that matter that he deems worthy of a Ten/10 rating???
As long as the 11 as well as other silhouettes have been around, some people are just now finally able to jump in the sneaker game. With that said, drops like these that offer as much black as the Bred/Cap n Gown, Space Jam, Gamma... you name it... Not everyone had the chance to cop some of those pairs, so this is a nice touch for people who missed out. Me personally, I only on the 2019 Bred so I'm excited to be able to cop something nearly blacked out. Took an L on the shock drop but come release day, I'm all over these! 🔥🔥🔥
Words cannot describe how cheap the plastic "Jordan" on the lace hoops make this shoe feel. Easy pass, especially with the heat that's coming early next year.
The soles remind me of the light bone snakeskin pair. I think it's a safe pair of shoes and they didnt do anything adventurous or new with it. I think these are worth it at retail but almost every other 11 tops it
