Okay, first off, I am a PS5 user (Digital Slim) and I am super happy with my console. It looks beautiful, runs super smoothly, has almost no wait times, and has amazing games that are super immersive. I got my PlayStation just 2 months ago, and people are asking me how I feel about the fact that I could've waited just a bit longer for the Pro. I don't regret anything. The Pro looks like a cash grab with little to no improvement, and the info on this video proves it. One thing is that the PS5 already struggles to find games that can actually use it's amazing features. This means that it will take the PS5 Pro years before it has a game library that can even try to use it's full power. You might as well get an original PS5 and suffer either low frame rate or resolution. It's not that bad, trust me. If you have a decent TV, 30FPS is super manageable. Anyways, thanks for the video, Xeta!
@@rustynoob this mentality is what I suspect most have (including myself). It’s also worth noting that used PS5s are somewhere around 400 bucks or even cheaper. This is what happens when one of Sony or Xbox gets too comfortable.
@@X-T-A Completely agreed. Yeah. They think people will buy their stuff no matter the price, and they will, but we all know they are gonna take a huge blow from this one. If they don't lower the prices, they'll stop selling normal PS5s too.
@@rustynoob I don't think they'll take a huge blow for this itself. Keep in mind that the PlayStation 6 should be releasing in 2 or 3 years. Te PS5 came out at the same price as the PS4 pro. I think that's where the controversy will land
@X-T-A Oh I see. Yeah if they make the PS6 the same price they'll lose customers. Good point. I'm just wondering how they are planning on upgrading the PS5 when there aren't even any games that can use further power, let alone game engines that can develope that game.
@@rustynoob at this point, the upgrades are essentially meaningless. For instance, hardly anyone has an 8k TV. Also, I wonder if these upgrades would hinder sales of the PS6, regardless of its price. (Why buy a PS6, when a PS5 Pro has x, y, and z?)
@@X-T-A I do find it’s just a tiny bit smoother then 12fps but it’s still decently choppy when it comes to animation. People who animate with Lego tend to have a low frame rate, like twelve frames per second. Most animators will have their animations at 24fps but I brought it down by ten for reasons that 14fps fit my animations more.
I do believe pro users will benefit from the upgrades, however, I don't think they justify the price increase for average consumers, especially with the additional cost of a disc drive and vertical stand. Overall, there should've been more to this at this price point.
Agreed. I see the slight appeal in wanting the best system, but there isn't even close to enough here for me to want it. Also, I think "pro" users will most likely go for a pc instead
@@X-T-A exactly. at 700 dollars, even 800 with the disk drive, you can get a very decent pc. i think some people were talking about the ps5 pro only rivaling like a 2080. ltt scrapyard wars proves you can get a better pc for cheaper. sony is going crazy
Bro i hate how people from the us are crying about how expensive it is meanwhile for me its 800€ or 880$ and in uk its 700£ or 910$ which is just unfair in comparison and the text below says tax included so its only 700$ for you tax included if i wanted it id have to spend 800€ ps5 120€ disc drive 30€ stand or 1052 $
I feel you man. I'm Canadian, but using USD because it's generally the most commoly used. Here, it's $1100. $700 USD doesn't actually include the tax. That was only for Euros and Yen I believe. You're right though, it's still much more in the EU. Do you have a PS5 right now?
I got a xbox series x back then but the only reason im mad is because i was planing to get the ps5 pro for gta 6 but at those prices im sticking with my xbox we dont even know if its capable to run it at 60fps as oppose to 30 on xbox x and ps5
@@blauerwolf3353 exactly. Think about the fact that the PS5 doesn't even run Grand Theft Auto V at 60 fps, even though the Series S does. I don't even know if it'll be able to run GTA 6. I suspect that game won't be decent until next gen.
