sana iconsider din yung USB ver. ports, Example na yung Lenovo Legion 5i pro Gen 8 walang thunderbolt 4 (Intell) or USB 4 (AMD), only USB 3.2 only as per specifications tapos 100k yung price unlike dun sa slightly cheaper Predator Helios 16 or more cheaper Helios Neo 16 meron dalawang ports na Thunderbolt 4 type-c. plus mux switch for gaming laptop.

another thing to consider with screens, especially for architects/ digital artists, is the color accuracy, hirap kunin yung tamang colors ng renders/ digital art mo kung yung mismong screen mo e di rin tama yung kulay.

Lods Dustin, may onting add-ons lang din ako😅 About the GPU. *For casual users - iGPU will do the trick (Iris Xe for intel, at least Radeon Vega series for AMD, would be best if RDNA). *Entry level gamers - Nvidia GTX 1650 to RTX 3050ti *Mid level gamers(AAA titles, Up to FHD, high) - Nvidia RTX 2060 to RTX 4060 *Hardcore Gamers(QHD ULTRA SETTINGS)- 8gb vram is the sweet spot of GPUs... From Nvidia RTX 3070 to RTX 4090. 😁👌

I am not Mid-hardcore gamers, but for those who produce K-pop MVs, or Hardcore K-pop mashup editors, 6-8GB VRAM is recommended, for those who do K-pop edits, 4GB is fine. You don't need over 200K laptop unless you want to produce a K-pop MV, or one of the director of the said K-pop MVs, or agency.

When it comes to Res and Screen size, i recommend FHD for 13-15.6” laptops. For 16” laptops and bigger, i recommend going for QHD or 4K. (But 4K can be quite demanding, so QHD is perfectly enough.) FHD: 1920 x 1080 QHD: 2560 x 1440 4K: 3840 x 2160 If your budget can afford it, i’d suggest to go straight for a higher res in 16-17.3” laptops. If not, settle with FHD. (Having a FHD display in such a large screen like a 17.3” laptop might give you a blurry picture. You can start to see some noticeable pixels in a screen like those.)

@@kouhaiii3182 Like i said, 4K is still too demanding nowadays. 1440p is the sweet spot if u want a higher res while not sacrificing too much performance. If your budget affords it, i’d suggest you go with QHD on 16” and larger screens. Or else the screen would look blurry.

@@mathew6097 idk, cuz for me it really is. And the pixels in a 1080p res being stretched out further in such a big screen like 17.3” can make the pixels start to look more noticeable and thus make the picture quality look more blurrier and worse.

Top 1 should always be "Purpose". For what purpose are you going to use the laptop for? Top 2 is budget. How much are you willing to spend? Then the specs comes after....

1. Consider the memory of the laptop. same size when upgrading 2. Consider the storage. SSD dapat 3. Consider if laptop is upgradable - future proof - if none, check extra slot 4. Safe window is windows 11 5. Processor generation - 13th gen (latest) 6. Resolution and screen size - as much as possible do not settle for HD 7. for gamers, consider GPU 8. Consider your budget - best to buy brand new
