@@HarnoorSinghOfficial Haha but still that 5% thing was funny. Anyways love your videos. Can you please make a video on how to buy a macbook in us as a master's student, how to avail discounts provided by universities.
@@HarnoorSinghOfficial You know Harnoor bhaiya, i got selected in IISER Bhopal in engineering science department. Looking forward for transfer to Georgia Tech. Meet you there in Atlanta.🙋
Bhai ne net se dekh ke bta diya, everyone knows ssd slow kyu hai m1 had dual ssd even in base 256gb variant but m2 has dual ssd in 512gb variant, and that too only makes difference only in reading writing like when exporting larger files, day to day task mein it won’t make much of a difference.
@@HarnoorSinghOfficial don't try to justify it , you are making it worse ..... 5% speed difference 😂 what a dumb thing to say while trying to look cool and smart .
@@Martin.Garrixx Are you a software engineer?? Don't shit here. 5% lag is a huge reverse benchmark. You will feel it only if you are a hardcore coding geek or a high-end editor 🙂
Woah! This is rather preposterous, U don’t downgrade a machine by taking just 2 points in account & sideline majority of upgrades/improvements tht comes its successor. I wouldn’t buy a 2 years old M1 for 200$ less I want new and better for upcoming years. There are umpteenth reasons to buy this one over the old. 5% that too in SSD… you failed to convince me
@@upendra6916 it may not seem but it's 15% faster in nearly all aspects. And I’d rather buy a faster M2 since it’s a performance upgrade and comes with latest chip.
@@upendra6916 People really have a wrong idea abt SSD read and write speed. How often do they transfer 100s of GBs of files and stare the screen and wait for it to finish? You just minimise and do your work it’s not even noticeable.
I’m using M2 base for everyday personal coding and also have M1 Pro for work. I don’t see much of a diff unless you doing like video editing which I don’t.
hey can u please share the final price and the variant u order. im frantically looking up to buy MacBook but freakingly confused due to the extra 20k price. would be thankful
Yo, I purchased MacBook M2 in August 2022 and Today is 7 Jan 2023. I haven't experienced any lag or inefficiency so far. I am not regretting on purchasing this product. Totally worth it.
@@joe.luke. Mine is Base as well.. Number of battery cycles on this is 110 and still works as new. I am salesforce developer and mon-tue the up time of this laptop is abouve 15 hrs and battery is also good never saw any performance issue.. And fun fact he can feel 5% slowness🤣🤣 Thank you..
@@kensparkgg One of my friends faced the same lag issue. He replaced his m1 with m2 air. But his issue was resolved after a weak or so after he updated his m2 air. So maybe he felt the same thing.
@@joe.luke. bro this vdo itself looks waste … i think in this vdo mam is pro editor ,he must go for windows much better than m1 or m2 air or he much go for Imac or MacBook pro ..its fault on this vdo .. M2 air is worth & no porblem in it I use base model and i have m1 & m2 air in office ..good for normal editing like drone video shot edit and all ,i use mainly VN app in MacBook
I have a macbook m1 pro from company, which I work for and bought m2 air at 78k. Performance wise, didnt saw any difference at all. Being using M1 pro from past 7 years.
God, all these so called tech bloggers have absolutely no clue about how amazing machine the mba m2 is. Even with 256 gb it’s incredible. They’re just jumping the trend bandwagon to diss the m2 and gain likes.
My budget is 55 thousand..I am getting at 66K rupees MacBook M1 because of Student discount Me to papa : Papa 11 thousand bada do price Papa to me ...55 thousand hi hai..lena hai to le warna Chrome Book le😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞
watching it in macbook air m1.I was waiting for the launch of m2 and expected that M1 will get more cheaper but its apple and apple made m1 more expensive😂. Therefore I immedietly bought it in 83k From offline store😃.It was a very good decision😘
Shoud i go with M3 15" MacBook air base variant or wait for SD Xelite laptops. 8gb ram isnt giving me the confidence to buy a base variant air.. i am tight on budget too. Not to mention, upgrading ram/ssd on apple devices cost 300$+ each in my country
@Odin putra thor Thodi Bahut ki h bhai isliye poocha .agar percentage speed calculate kar late to Apple khud hi branding karta har device ki ... jaisa Tera naam vaisi Teri soch confusing si
My bro cannot tell the 5-10% difference in cpu and gpu performance but can easily tell 5% difference in ssd speed..😂😂😂😂😂.. but yes ssd in base macbook air is slower.. but who buys 256gb anyways..
I am a 1st Year B. Tech CSE student in India. So, I am going to get my first Macbook. I have been a Windows user lately but I am planning to get a Macbook. But I am confused between M1 AIR, M2 AIR and M2 Pro 13/14. And which storage will you recommend me 256GB or 512GB? And see I am planning to use it for a long run for a minimum of 4 years. So, looking from productivity perspective which one would you recommend? I would be using it for Coding, Programming, DSA, Machine Learning, Android Development, IOS development, etc. Please recommend me the best option. And I checked the M1 Pro 512GB. Apple doesn't sells it anymore in Inida. They have removed it from Apple India website. And the M2 Pro is quite out of my budget. I have a budget of around 1-1.5 lakhs. So, kindly help me and tell me which one should I get. Or should I go with high end Windows Laptop? So, in July 2023 (4 months from now) which one would you recommend to buy?
There will be very specific use cases where you would feel the slowness of the SSD because it’s a single chip, compared to 2 on m1, but you don’t feel advantage of m2 over m1, and because you didn’t tell us where exactly did you feel the slowdown, I believe you just watched a bunch of RU-vid videos and just repeated what every tech channel is saying
🤣of u have m1 then why u go for just 3% extra boost in m2 ..for that u must go for pro variants thags much better for nxt level upgrade..finally u wasted the money and air is for normal useres if u r a hardcore editor means go for imac or MacBook pro but i tell for hardcore should go for windows pc or hight end windows laptops….
First of all why would you buy m2 with the same specs as the m1 and do your research before buying because ssd in m2 is single slot compared to dual slot in m1 if you really want to get maximum upgrade go with the pro
I use iMac for music production and I recently bought MacBook Air M2 to carry my projects around while travelling. I use Logic Pro X with a minimum of 100 tracks running simultaneously in each project and I haven’t felt even a slight hint of lag. Besides, I use high memory consuming plug-ins in most of the tracks 🤷🏽♂️ I would rank it as the best Macbook in budget

Guys the M2 base variant (256gb) has a single 256gb NAND instead of 2x128gb like the base M1. So actually, it is 50% slower than the old model. If you get the 512gb variant, there is no difference
Difference won't be noticeable in day-to-day use. Latency is the same for both. Therefore, the speed difference will only become apparent when you're copying hundreds of gigabytes of files.
@@sholmes_ttyy you will also notice a problem when using swap memory if you have only 8gb ram. Apple strategically made so you have to get any of the upgrades to get the full potential.
