In this video I want to share why cheap Harmonicas should be avoided 1.Air tightness 2.Tuning 3.Injury 4.Practice 5.Self doubt Always This is applicable to all types of harmonica Chromatic, diatonic, tremolo, etc.
Very good information I fully agree with your points for low budget harmonica but for learners and middle class it is difficult to buy higher range harmonica like Hohner ..Super 64 ..learners they wl prefer only Tower yes after the succeed then yes they wl think over higher range harmonica..with regards..
Dear Suresh, Agree with you, it's better to play whatever is possible to afford rather than not playing at all and one can upgrade when the time comes. Regards. Thank you!
Hi! Please do a comparison video between Hohner Chrometta 12 and Easttop Forerunner, I'm going to upgrade my harmonica from basic Tower to something better but in a budget too. I really like Hohner Chrometta 12 but there are many good reviews for an even cheaper, Easttop Forerunner and I'm so confused now.
I am agree with you sir cheep harmonica doesn't sound properly when we are going high 🎵 notes i have insignia harmonics just 600 rs but its not sounds good after 16 holes so i can't play many songs please seggest me for professional harmonica which one i purchase.
Hohner, Suzuki produce some very good professional instruments but a bit expensive. Try some models of Easttop and Kongsheng. I like the Easttop king dream for the value of the instrument.
From the ones that I have, I suggest Easttop King dream which is much lower approx. 5500rs. and a very good instrument. Will do a review video on it in a few days. For the Hohner and suzuki will have to check the prices and get back to you! Regards
I have Easttop T12-48 king dream... It's ultimate choice... But if you are practicing on tower. You will face some problem to switch towards 12 holes from 24 holes . But with practice you will be ok with 12holes soon..
You are certainly right, but one thing is definitely important that is affordable price. Difference between Rs.500/- and Rs.50,000/- even upto Rs.1,00,000/-. / Not proper. Absolutely not proper, not justifiable. All good companies Chrometic harmonica price range should be between Rs.5,000/- to Rs.7,000/- and certainly not beyond that for all instrument lovers. Do something for harmonica players.
Food for thought!! I think India is the only manufacturing hub which can revolutionize the quality production and competitive prices if someone puts their mind to it. Until then less options. Regards
You are absolutely right. I have had a tight slider that used to get stuck. Luckily managed to straighten it using pliers. I apply inorganic grease in tiny quantities go keep it smooth.
@@criticalkeen8464 thank you so much for your advice, is it chromatic 22 Holes, I am 68 years old. While I am 8 yeas old, I used to learn, long gap, I am a music lover, I learnd guitar, mouth organ is my favourite now a days RU-vid video are there so I want to make use. Please advise me, and you can teach me
@Sampath Kumar! I believe the advice by @Abhijit's Harmonica to buy Easttop is also good, I do have a few of them and I suggest the 'Easttop King dream T12 48k' as a good quality instrument. However as anything the more you spend the better and better things become. If you are not planning to build up a collection and want only one instrument for a long time, go with what your heart says as you can't go wrong with Hohner, Suzuki, etc. I think you have inspired me for review videos of different instruments! Thanks to both of you gentlemen!!
@@siddpandya I know any country have people use cheap harp, people use expensive harp, if not a lot of money, or beginner, can use cheap harp, but people use many brand (swan, eastop, kongsheng...), but my mean is, "tower kongsheng chromatic harmonica" in India, many people use, this brand very popular in your country
If I may offer a piece of advice to add to your video ....... DON'T put your harmonica/(guitar for me) away someplace where you can't see it or isn't quickly accessable. Leave it in plain sight. You don't play an instrument you can't see. I didn't understand that to be true until recently.i can promise ANYONE tho....leave ur Instruments out, you will get better and play it more often. Just an idea. Hope it rings true for someone out there. Keep playing y'all. ✌️
