I have come across some rude women in the community and I instantly block them. It's a shame you can't name and shame them! You and Jackie are amazing people. You share your talent with the world, and you invite us into your life which is an incredible privilege. I don't go out much because my husband and 2 of my kids are disabled and my other 2 kids are special needs. Having people like you and Jackie and so many others in this community has been like an answered prayer. Y'all are so friendly and funny and warm hearted. I respect you so much for speaking up for her, and I think the best decision was made as far as the baby was concerned. And she is a beautiful baby, so that person totally missed out. I have no tolerance for bullies and that is exactly what that person was. And Jackie sure isn't a nobody. She is a well known and respected reborn artist as well as a wife, a mother, a friend and just a good person in general who is definitely going on to bigger and better things. I have never heard her say an ugly thing about anyone. Much love and support to both of you ladies who play such a positive roll in this community.

I wouldn’t say you guys are like Walmart or Target....shoot for something like Saks or Tiffany & Co. lol. So sorry this all happened though especially over such a beautiful reborn. And educated or not, you’re right, no one is a nobody. Just shows how ignorant, arrogant and small the other person is.
And btw, that buyer lost out big time. Jackie made my Emmie and I can’t say I’ve ever loved a reborn half as much...so beautifully painted and you can tell she paints with love.
I would say that they, Stephanie and Jackie, are JUST like Walmart and Target!!! That is where they love to spend their time and their money. And what is wrong with Walmart and Target??? I happen to absolutely LOVE Walmart and that is why I work there!!! I love it when reborn collectors and artists take their dolls there!!! And I was touched when Stephanie compared the two of them to these fine companies!! I don't mean to be rude or disrespectful, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with Walmart or Target-----AND there is ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with Stephanie or Jackie!! They are truly awesome artists and very sweet and caring people. You all NEED to calm down!!! First off, you all can just call me Tami. By using both names, you responses get off on the wrong foot. Secondly, yes I know that they are friends. I watch the videos. Thirdly, (don't think that's a word, but I'm using it anyway), I wasn't implying in any way that this was an insult to Stephanie and/or Jackie. To me, it was a little bash on Walmart and Target. All the establishments mentioned are fine, fine places to shop, none better than the other. Next, in my opinion, Walmart and/or Target would be insane not to sell Stephanie's and Jackie's work in their stores, if they chose to carry reborn dolls (which I know that they don't do). As I said in my response, their work is fantastic!!! Montenegro Babies, if I have offended you in any way, I truly apologize. I was only defending Walmart (and Target) as you would defend something you feel passionate about. Walmart gets bashed enough, I think.

I count it a privilege to one day buy one of your dolls. No one and I mean no one has the right to talk to you and Jackie like that. Being in the reborn world she has to know it takes a long time for custom orders, it is not like she is going to Walmart and picking up a Barbie Doll. You both are such nice people and talented . That baby is absolutely beautiful, well worth the wait. She should have been happy that you were taking the time to make her such a beautifully done reborn. Art takes time, the best stuff comes with time, waiting, and patience. I'm sorry that someone was rude and had the audacity to act like since they paid you they could treat you how you wanted. I've dealt with people like that in retail and in the medical field. It's not okay. It's definitely not okay to talk down to someone and treat them like they are below you. It always made me feel like crap and I even cried when I've had customers treat me so rudely. Good for you for standing up for yourself and your wife. And good for her for going to medical school. wow all I have to say is wow it's sickening i really do not understand in this day and age why we can't just be kind to one another. Jackie and Stephanie do some of the best work i've seen they've worked so hard to get where they are and i can't stand hearing someone say otherwise. She has every right to speak up about it and she did the thing by taking the doll away from that person. some people don't understand how much work creating a reborn actually is and how hard it is to do it right, i'm an amateur and it is so much more difficult than i thought it would be and don't even get me started on starting a business out of it. I say good for Stephanie and Jackie for teaching that person that being rube and inconsiderate gets you no where in life.

I just watched your video about the very rude person and could not believe what I was hearing. I literally just was texting my daughter about the reveal video I just saw and was telling her this doll is one of the most beautiful reborns I've seen!! She then explained what had happened and told me to watch the rude video. So sorry this happened, but you handled yourself great, but let this person know what a fool she is and especially since now she doesn't have this baby!! I'm glad you have her and she's in a loving home. I'm fairly new to the reborn dolls; but thanks to my daughter she is getting me very interested:) You and Jackie just keep doing what you're doing. . . the talent you both have is amazing:)

You defended your wife, both your art & reborn artists in general. I find it upsetting to see some of the messages saying you're wrong for posting this video. Seems like as soon as a person stands up for themselves/others, they're told "it's not a big deal" "you should let it go" or my favorite "you're just as bad now". Jackie needed to feel good to do a great job, obviously this customer didn't do this. I am impressed that you didn't drop the F bomb during this video.... very controlled. I am so very glad this bub is staying in your family. She is truly divine. Stay on top of the legal stuff for this. Your videos promote the entire reborn community & if she slanders you, or tries to damage your business, the entire community suffers. Words are one of the worst and most deadly weapons we have. A knife wound or a gun wound will heal with time, but words never run out of ammo, don't need "training" and they cut deeper into the soul and take so much longer to heal and that's IF they heal! Good things come to those who wait, obviously they didn't want quality. This is supposed to be our safe haven, we get enough bullying and meanness from outside the community, it has to STOP! 🙌🏼 to both of you Jackie and Steff! If the buyer can ask for a refund because they don't agree with how something is going, then why can't the artists decide to issue one if they're being mistreated? The artists don't have to make us our babies but yet they still choose to. No matter the blood, sweat, tears, pain, frustration, or stress each step might cause. The great artists are becoming more and more scarce. And each time I ask one it's the same thing. How certain rude customers made it a nightmare and so stressful, that in order to continue being an artist they had to go to make to sell only which ruins its for the rest of us. I do not own reborns but, I love them. There are at least 10 channels that I originally started watching maybe 4 years ago and yours was one of them. I couldn't afford cable but my granddaughter showed me that with my Blu-ray player I could watch RU-vid! I thank her for this!

I am not one to comment on videos very often but I completely agree with what Stephanie said.....us as reborn mommies or collectors should show these artist respect because without them none of us would be able to enjoy these beautiful works of art....yes it's exciting when your expecting a new baby but you must be patient and trust me I know that's not always easy to do....I have been waiting 3 months to get my little bundle of joy....to me it would be a great honor to be able to own a baby that Stephanie or Jackie has paid...

Jackie is an amazing artist and person and her being rude and calling names is uncalled for and you're right I wouldn't have done business with someone who treated me or my spouse that way either. The baby is adorable btw. I would feel blessed to get something that beautiful
I wasn’t aware something had happened until I saw someone post about it on Facebook asking to be tagged in the post about Jackie. I didn’t know any details until I watched this video. One, I completely support you standing up for your wife. Anyone would have an issue with their loved ones being harassed or talked down to. So good on you. Secondly, any time I have ever talked to Jackie, she’s been incredibly kind. She bends over backwards to make people happy and is honestly a joy to talk to. So she absolutely doesn’t deserve to be talked to like that. There are WAY too many people in the industry these days that expects perfection in a very small time frame. People that are impatient to wait for a doll that’s worth it in the end. Then there’s also people that start getting nervous when things don’t go how THEY want it because of past horror stories in the doll community in general, so they feel the need to constantly bother people until they get what they want. This person should have contacted Jackie in a respectful way about her concerns so that Jackie could have put her at ease and continued with the transaction. This isn’t one of those scenarios where you paid for a custom but rarely ever got progress pics, or the artist ignored several messages, or the doll isn’t even completed when the discussed time has been up. It’s realistic for someone to panic and start getting more and more frustrated if that’s the case. But progress pics of this baby have been shared often to Facebook in general so she should have been excited rather than pushy. I’m the most impatient person there is, so I can understand from that standpoint, but that’s about it. Hopefully things get resolved and taken care of so you guys can move on.
