Don't call San Francisco, "Frisco?" Let's set the record straight 

I was just born there and visited

@ Cathy Kayler One guy did say Sacramento native Herb Caen called it Frisco before he called the City. Caen admitted later like the guy said it was kind of BS. He wrote about it a couple of times. He also wrote that Oakland was actually a beautiful town. We called it Frisco growing up in Redwood City in the 50's. I know all the bus lines & climbed every hill on my bike or feet. My parents took us all to Frisco during the 50's & 60's all the time. Don't remember people calling it San Fran. I heard that later living in MA. Frisco shows up in lots of history dating back to 19th century. I always liked Oakland more & love living in Monterey. Peace.

Go to a Mexican and Black person from SF and tell them that’s disrespectful and see what they tell you.

Caen’s upscaling efforts failed miserably and SF is now a tent city. The over-priced condos are falling down, and falling over. Homeless and drug use everywhere, in plain sight. Yep, it’s Frisco now, for sure.
