That's freaking hilarious! @ 1:37 I died from your gadget. I remember that game when I first joined solo q trying out the new map for the first time. My teammate set off your trap, as I was going up the ladder I notice the thorn gadget go off, so I tried to go back down but another teammate had climbed beneath on the ladder so I couldn't move... LOL
Agreed. Jiggle peaking/quick peaking just sucks out all the fun from the positioning/strategy side of defending in siege. Why find a good cover spot/angle if there's literally no way to react to them.
5:22 omfg yes. I’ve been saying it for so long. Increase the Lean Cooldown and/or make your bullets inaccurate while in the animation of leaning/crouching. It’s even more unfair on console bc it’s way harder to do on controller so Ximmers get a big advantage.
What you do on Emerald Plains is you do the normal spawnpeek on front gate, usually get at least one pick. Then you put a thorn trap on the railing right behind the ladder, usually someone will come up that and even if they rappel they get hit by it after the vault. So even if you die you'll get at least two kills.
I quick peek alot it’s not broken there’s plenty of ways to counter it. Aiming head level and distracting long enough so the roamer can do Work plus positioning yourself better. I’m working on my own way of countering quick peeking
@@jasonlasick4396 "Aiming head level and distracting long enough so the roamer can do work," a 2v1 and headshots are not counters, they are always beneficial. The real counter would be that quick peek fights are usually ones where you start to rely on defensive gadgets a lot more, which is still absolutely an inadequate "counter" since it falls into much the same issue of when don't you want the benefit of a gadget?
For people abusing the quick peek exploit there’s an easy counter. Wait them out and wait for them to push or if your an attacker use an LMG and don’t stop firing while you push that angle.
i don't feel like quick peeking is te problem, i think the biggest problem is peek advantage (idk how to spell) thats the reason why you just can't hold angles...
The only way jiggle peaking doesn’t work, is if motion blur is mandatory… and motion blur genuinely makes me feel sick… so I’m not sure how to fix that…
lowering movement speed while peeking, inaccuracy/no ads whilst transitioning to fully leaned (similar to the fix to drop shotting), or adding a "fatigue" system where if you spam leans your lean speed starts to slow (like csgo's anti crouch spam) would all work to decrease the power of jiggle peeking. your motion blur idea also would help, but like you mentioned, ppl do end up getting motion sickness from motion blur so maybe just a slight blur when in the animation to lean might work too all this is to say that there are so many viable ways to fix/improve on the jiggle peek situation, but ubisoft cant be arsed to actually implement any of it, not even in TTS for players to test and comment on :/
It would be nice if Mozzie drones were invulnerable to defender bullets while the pest is still on the drone so the Mozzie or his teammates don't accidentally shoot it half a second after it latches on.
