Don't complain about these things when you switch to a bigger cc bike | switching from 150 to 400 cc
Hi all,
I have seen many riders who are switching from small cc to bigger cc bikes complaining about some or the other things.
However some of them are not issues but just normal things in bigger cc bike.
so here are some of those things.

Good video! Moved from R15 to adv390x today. The last point about the throttle response is so true

Here are a few key points when considering a bike like KTM Adventure 390 1. It's not the most refined engine 2. Ride is not as plush or comfortable especially in city. Recommend adjustable suspension for this 3. Fuelx reduces the engine temps by 30-40%. This matters in metro cities where it's bumper to bumper traffic 4. Always use both the breaks simultaneously. KTM ADVs have delayed bite to aide off-roading capability

I use grenaro wireless mic, yes it is comparable with iPhone, and go Pro. But buy the right one. There are many mic of that brand. Check go Pro compatible one.

I got my adv 390x delivered today. I was in the dilemma as you. Below are the points which helped me make my decision 1. My current bike is R15 and was planning to switch from last 1 year. Waited for Himalayan and for me the weight was the deal breaker. I couldn't live with r15 for long rides as it was hurting my wrists just after 50kms. ( I still haven't sold my r15 yet) 2. Also saw some spyshots of the upcoming adv390 which looks cool. But the new 399cc engine is not mature when it comes to manufacturing (Bajaj has setup a new plant at Chakan -2). So new dukes are seeing some engine reliability issues. 3. If we look at the time line, new adv is expected to be launched in last quarter of 2024. And from there, again atleast 6 months for it to resolve the issues in the first batch of bikes at the production level. 4. Considering the second and third point strictly, the current 373cc engine is tried and tested, and has no reliability issues comparatively. And it would have taken another 1.5 years for me to get my hands on the new bike. 5. Also expect some decent hike in the prices. Hope this helps to make your decision.
